🐾 Keeping Your Dogs Safe in the Heat 🐾
With temperatures soaring, your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priority.
☀️ Walks will be adjusted to cooler parts of the day where possible. 🌳 Routes will include plenty of shade. 💧 Fresh water and regular rest breaks are always provided. 🐕 Walks may be shortened if conditions become too hot. 🔥 Pavement temperatures can be dangerous for paws, so hot surfaces will be avoided.
Please remember that if the ground is too hot for the back of your hand for 5 seconds, it's too hot for your dog's paws.
During extreme temperatures, I may recommend a shorter walk, garden visit, enrichment session, or welfare check instead of a full walk. This is to ensure every dog stays happy, healthy, and safe.
