🐾 I've had to cancel most of my dogs this week! 🥵☀️

Not because I'm lazy 😅

But because it's going to be 24°C by 9am and around 30°C by midday 🌡️🔥

No dog in my care will ever be put at risk just for the sake of going for a walk. Their safety and wellbeing will always come first ❤️🐶

You hear this saying a lot...
"No dog has ever died from missing a walk."

Will i lose money? 💸
Absolutely.

Is it stressful? 😩
Yes, for sure!

Will my clients' dogs be safe, happy, and healthy? 🐕❤️
Without a doubt.

There are plenty of ways to keep dogs mentally stimulated indoors with enrichment games, sniffing activities, training, and lots of fuss 🦴🎾🏡

When temperatures are this high, hot pavements, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke are very real dangers. ☀️⚠️

I know what I'm choosing every single time...

I have injured my lower back 🤦🏼‍♀️ no interesting story behind it.. I was wait for it… putting my shoe on😅

I had to cancel walks today, and go to my mums so she could run around after my 2 year old (was quite nice actually😂)

I will be working out what I think I can possibly do tomorrow without injuring myself further.

I will send out messages shortly to who it may affect.

Again, thank you for being so understanding, I don’t cancel unless it really is essential. Not only do I miss seeing my buddies 🐶 but this is my job and my income that takes a huge hit.

🐶🌞 HOT WEATHER UPDATE 🌞🐶�🚨 PLEASE READ 🚨

As I’m sure you’ve all noticed, we’re about to get a serious burst of heat next week! ☀️🥵�As lovely as the sunshine is, it can be a really difficult and stressful time for us dog walkers 🐾because we have to rearrange schedules to make sure all dogs are safely exercised before it gets too hot.

The babies safety and wellbeing will always come first 💛🐶

For this reason, I’ll be prioritising dogs that are home alone during the day and will mainly be offering early morning walks 🌅🐕 while temperatures are lower and safer.
If you’re going to be home next week and won’t need my services, please let me know as soon as possible 🙏 so I can offer that space to a dog who would otherwise be left alone.

Of course… this is England 🇬🇧😂 and the weather changes every five minutes, so if anything changes I’ll contact everyone directly and keep you updated ☔☀️

But as always, your dog’s health and safety comes before anything else ❤️�Missing one walk won’t hurt them… but overheating absolutely could 🥺🐶🔥
