In recent months, we’ve had to say goodbye to several of our beloved client dogs as they’ve crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈. Their loss is deeply felt, many of them have been in our care for years, and they’ve become part of our extended family. It’s not only their wagging tails and warm presence we miss, but also the wonderful friendships we’ve formed with their loving guardians.

The photo shows the collars of my own dogs who have also made that journey. I miss each of them more than words can ever express, and I hold onto the hope that one day, we’ll be reunited on the other side 🩷🩷🩷.

Yesterday I updated my hands on ofqual canine first aid certification. Thank you Rachel Bean for a fabulous informative day and to network with other professionals. The icing on the cake, it was ten mins from home.

Today marks the end of an era—10 incredible years of teaching Level 3 Hydrotherapy. We've had the privilege of guiding some truly inspiring people, sharing our passion, and watching them discover the same enthusiasm we have for this work. Many have gone on to launch their own businesses, while others continue to grow their expertise in other centres. To everyone who has joined us at Active Balance Veterinary Physiotherapy I hope you carry fond memories of your time with us—we’ve certainly had a blast!

A heartfelt thank you to all my clients who have entrusted their wonderful dogs to be part of this journey. Some of them are still with us, while others have crossed to rainbow bridge, but each one has played a crucial role in shaping the education of future hydrotherapists. Much has changed over the years, but one thing has remained constant: Reflex 💙 he’s the icing on the cake at the end of each week. His presence has been a source of joy and inspiration.

A special thank you to Barbara Houlding K9HS for trusting me to be part of this educational journey. We certainly have a lot of stories to share one day!
