Here at Active Equine we have a few employment vacancies that have come available.
🔵 Weekend and possibly 1 day during the week. A standard 8 hour working day including mucking out, tack cleaning, bringing horses in and out of the field, bathing horses, tacking up for exercise and handling horses on the water treadmill (not running the sessions). Dependent on capability and experience, some hacking of fit event horses, platting and clipping. Would suit an Equine Rehabilitation or Vet Physio student wanting to gain some experience whilst working.
🔵 Morning work (approx 4 hours) up to 7 days a week. Mostly mucking out with some handling of horses on the treadmill and turning horses out.
We have a mixed yard of 12 boxes including rehabiltation liveries and eventers from young horses up to 4* level. The work will be varied and we will try and keep it fun.
Please note:
We cannot provide accommodation at this point.
No own dogs or horses sorry.
Riding will be strictly hacking, you will not be asked to school any horses as Lucy does this all herself.
Pay dependent on experience.
