Pawstride- Dog Walking & Pet Visits

With the temperatures being so hot, all walks have now been moved to either very early mornings or late evenings ☀️🐾

For anyone looking to book in extra walks I won’t be taking any midday bookings while this weather continues, as it simply isn’t safe for dogs to be out walking in the heat.

I’m more than happy to do pop-in visits during the day to let dogs out into the garden, top up water bowls, and make sure they’re comfortable.

Your dogs’ safety and wellbeing will always come first 💛

All of a sudden my holiday calendar for June is FULL! ☀️

I still have some availability for walks throughout June, but I don’t have any more room for long holiday bookings 🐶

If you’re going away during July or August and will need dog walking, feeding visits, puppy visits, or general pet care, please try to get booked in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment 😊

Please note: we do not offer overnight stays/boarding.

The aftermath of a good walk 🙈

With the weather warming up, we’re now starting walks from 7:30am where possible - helping your dogs stay cool, happy, and safe in the early hours. ⛅️

For dogs that need a midday walk and can tolerate the heat, such as Greyhounds, Vizslas, Whippets, or other heat-resilient breeds, we only walk in very shaded, wooded areas, and keep a close eye on their comfort throughout.🌳

We would never walk in conditions we wouldn’t feel are safe: Flat-faced breeds (like French Bulldogs or Pugs) and dogs with thicker coats may need their walks moved to earlier times or shortened during hot days to prevent overheating.

Your dog’s wellbeing always comes first. 💕🐾
