EXCITING TIMES! 🐎

The first batch of certificates have finally arrived!!

I’m so unbelievably proud of all those that have taken part in the stable management sessions so far, it’s amazing to watch how far they have come over the last few months.

What a pleasure it is each week to hear all the positive comments from parents/carers on how the learners are all using what they have learnt in the sessions to aid their day to day responsibilities with their own horses 🥰

Another week or so and they will have also completed their Horse knowledge part two aswell 👏 📚 🌟 💪

There’s still time to join and learn … another 32 qualifications available ! 📖

SOLD TO A LOVELY NEW HOME 🥰

FOR SALE ON BEHALF OF CLIENT

Fully registered, 9 year old
Welsh section C gelding, Approx 13.2hh

Marley is a stunning allrounder with a laid back attitude to life.

He has attended clinics and unaffiliated dressage with his current owner, with potential to excel in the show ring, BD, would suit a mother daughter share or a great pony club all rounder.

✅ Does not need riding everyday
✅Never gets ‘hot’ or silly
✅ Expressive in all 3 paces and works beautifully in the school, with a can do attitude
✅Will hack out alone or in company and is excellent in traffic/farm traffic and open spaces - often hacked out on and next to 60mph roads
✅Very level headed and snaffle mouthed

It’s worth noting, previously he has napped to the gate when he thought he could get away with it in the school, however this only lasted a few minutes and then he got back to work, he hadn’t done this for quite a few months now and has never done this hacking

✅ Good to travel, dentist, farrier and clip.

Sadly for sale due to impending house move meaning his current owners are having to give up ponies for now. Currently in very light work (only hacking once or twice a week due to packing/preparing to move house)

I just LOVE these Stable management sessions 🐴

Watching this lovely lot gain so much confidence in themselves and developing good friendships, whilst learning about a sport they are so passionate about makes me beam from ear to ear, and of course the flapjack and brownies help all round! This week all 40 where polished off within 10 minutes of the session starting 😂😁

The best bits are the messages I get afterwards from parents or when I walk onto their yard for their riding lessons and they are bursting to tell me all about the things they learnt and how they have put it into practice in the week! I’m so proud of each and every one of them 🥰

Stable management sessions are in full swing in Holmpton every other Monday evening… here’s a couple of pictures from over the last 4 sessions, what once was a super shy bunch that didn’t know each other are now becoming great friends, we were sorry to miss Anna and Georgie this evening due to illness but will see them again next session 💪🏼🐴

So far in the last 4 sessions we have covered:

Points of the horse, Identification markings, Colours, leg and facial markings, Equine Behaviour - Body Language, Equine Health - Daily health checks, Introduction to Equine Health and Safety, Rules of feeding and the 5 Welfare needs 🤩

All of these lovely ladies are gaining friendships, knowledge and BHS qualifications too, with lots of flapjack and brownies thrown in for good measure! 🥰

Based around improving elements of the scales of training and mixing up your horses flatwork routine with some strengthening exercises leading into the winter months! ❄️ 🥶

Open to all levels, ages and abilities. Sessions tailored to each individual horse and rider partnership.

🤔 Need some help tuning up on the flat? Struggle with turns or transitions when jumping? Wanting to switch up your normal routine with some polework integrated in?

Florence the Suffolk Punch 🐎 💥

Backed her last year at 12 years old, she’s never worked in an arena, only schooled out hacking and in open fields! She goes beautifully in her loose ring snaffle … don’t think she quite knows she’s a tonne beast!

We even popped in a gallop at the end 🐎 💨 not as fast as the racehorses I rode earlier that morning around Southwell Racecourse but she’s quick for a big bird 🤪 ♥️
