Why did I build MyLuka around one to one, game based training? 🐾

Before becoming a dog trainer, I spent years working alongside young children, watching confidence grow through play, encouragement and small successes.

When Luka came into my life, I realised dogs learn in much the same way.

That discovery shaped everything MyLuka has become. One to one training gives every dog and every owner the time, space and support to enjoy learning together.

Because the best learning happens when it feels safe, enjoyable and rewarding. ❤️

Today was one of those sessions that reminds me exactly why I love my job.

Four weeks ago, walks with these two felt stressful.

Seeing another dog often meant barking and lunging, all while pushing a pram.

We didn't look for a quick fix.

Instead, we built focus, engagement and the ability to disengage from distractions.

Today, everything came together.

Their guardian stayed calm and confident, the dogs made brilliant choices and the walk was a pleasure.

I'm incredibly proud of this lovely family. ❤️🐾

She also has enough confidence and energy for three puppies and is a complete whirlwind! 😄

Over the coming weeks we'll be working together on loose lead walking, recall and everyday household manners, helping her channel all that enthusiasm into making great choices.
