Week One of Puppy Foundation Training 🐾

One of the first things I talk about with new puppy owners is sleep.

An overtired puppy can struggle with biting, concentration and making good choices. Often what looks like "too much energy" is actually exhaustion 😫

Getting enough rest is one of the most important foundations for a happy, well balanced puppy 💛

Why do I teach boundary games? 🐾

Because boundary games are about so much more than staying on a bed or mat.

They help dogs learn valuable life skills such as:

• calmness
• patience
• self control
• focus around distractions
• choosing to settle
• doors and visitors

These skills can then be used in everyday life when visitors arrive, during mealtimes, while you're making a cup of tea, or whenever your dog needs help switching off and relaxing.

I don't teach boundary games because I want dogs to stay on a bed.

I teach boundary games because I want dogs and owners to have practical skills they can use in the real world.

Strong foundations create calmer choices 🐾✨

Concept training focuses on teaching dogs the life skills they need for everyday life, not just isolated commands.

Through simple games and practical exercises, I help owners build calmness, focus, confidence, self control and better choices in real life situations.

My role isn’t to “train the dog for you”.

It’s to guide, support and coach you so you understand your dog better and feel confident building those skills together.

Because when both dog and owner understand each other, everything starts to feel calmer, clearer and more achievable 🐾
