Merry Christmas to all our clients and animals, we have loved caring for your fur babies this year and hope everyone has a lovely Christmas. unfortunately we are now closed on Christmas Eve you have an emergency please call our Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic and we will see you all when we reopen on Monday the 29th. Remember we have our free vidi vet for advice on online consults and vets now if you have an emergency.

!!!NEW DATE!!!

Picnic in the park has now been reorganised for Saturday the 19th of July

A couple of us form Dersingham vets and Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic will be doing a summer fate on Saturday the 7th of June at the North Wootton playing field 11am to 5pm.

We will be raising money for Ravenswood Pet Rescue a local pet charity by doing tombola, guess the name of the teddy, guess how many sweets in the jar, as well as a dog show judged by us and our wonderful nurse Clare.

Ravenswood pet rescue is a self - funded charity which means they rely on donations to cover neutering, vaccinations, medications and treatment their rescues might need during their time with them, while at the rescue cats and dogs stay in foster homes where they can get the best care possible until they find their forever home.

We hope you can join us to help raise money for this amazing rescue.

CANINE VACCINATION UPDATE 💉

We are changing our standard dog leptospirosis vaccine to reflect the fact that new strains of the disease are spreading into East Anglia. The updated vaccines offer protection against these additional strains and reduces the risk of dogs contracting this life-threatening illness.

The manufacturer has decided to discontinue the L2 vaccine, in light of new recommendations by the WSAVA. Therefore all patients will transition over to the L4 vaccine.

To receive full protection, two injections are needed, four weeks apart. Then it will be annual boosters as usual. The first vaccine can be given at your dog’s yearly booster appointment with the second injection to be given 4 weeks later at no extra cost to you.
