Pricing for Grooming

Each groom is priced accordlying.

Relative to breed, duration of groom, ease of groom, how often the dog is groomed, how difficult the dog is to groom, it's coat type, many factors are included.

It takes a lot of training and experience to groom dogs. They move about, they scratch, they sometimes bite, it is not as easy as it looks grooming a moving target.

We do get injured a lot, it is a physical job which takes it's toll on our bodies.

It takes a lot of practice and patience.

As groomers we get covered in all bodily functions, it is not a glamorous job, but we love it as we love dogs and love the transformation.

Training and our equipment is expensive, we have to get scissors and clipper blades sharpened, equipment maintained etc.

When dogs are not groomed enough, they get matted, which is harder to groom, blunting tools and straining our hands and bodies.

Please spare a thought when querying our prices, there is a lot to consider, not just time.

As a mobile groomer, I am coming to you, providing a service. Other tradespeople charge far more as well as a Callout Fee.

Fleas and Ticks

Make sure you groom your pet regularly, looking for fleas and ticks, between scheduled grooms.

We are well into the season.

Bath and brush your dogs regularly, there are lots of special shampoos and treatments available.

The weekend's shaping up to be a scorcher, with yellow heat warnings in place across parts of the UK.
☀️ Did you know 75% of heatstroke cases in dogs are caused by exercising on a hot day?
Please avoid walking your dog during the hottest parts of the day. Instead, head out early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler.
