So here it is. A very bitter sweet message from us here at Enslow Farm.
When we first drew up the plans for the dog field back in lockdown, we never anticipated how well it would do and in fact how many amazing people we’d meet along the way.
The field has achieved so much over the last couple of years, including an award for best dog field. However, we couldn’t have achieved all of this without you all, your pups and Paul (dad), who has helped us out hugely, so we could continue the field and still enjoy our family life.
As many of you will know, we’ve tried numerous times to get planning permission for a farm shop and doggy daycare. Unfortunately, the council always finds a reason to reject them and unfortunately there is no more trying.
But every cloud has a silver lining and that is…..
We’ve just become the new owners of ‘The Four Paws Pet Hotel. This is boarding and daycare kennels based in Bampton, near Witney. We’re so excited to start our new chapter but of course this sadly means changes to the field.
With immediate effect the dog field will now be closed. We had hoped to continue both the kennels and dog field, but unfortunately this has become too difficult to manage.
Thank you so much again for the past two years and of course if you ever need somewhere for your pups to stay, please bare us in mind, we’d love to see some familiar faces.
