🌡🌞🌡 We're going to say it ONE MORE TIME as the temperature soars again - NO DOG DIED FROM NOT GOING FOR A WALK... 🌡🌞🌡

Here at Willow Vets we have heard from many clients over the last few weeks who, out of concern, have confronted owners of dogs out for a walk when the temperature was far too high. Answers have ranged from 'they always go out at this time' to 'they (the dog) wanted to go for a walk to 'this is the only time I could take them out'!!! 😱😱😱

NONE OF THESE ARE A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO RISK YOUR DOG'S LIFE!!!!

So we say again - if you are in any doubt that the temperature is too high to safely walk your dog DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT - they may be cross about it but we'd much rather you have a grumpy-but-alive furbaby than a dead one 😢😢😢

Please please share again everyone - help us to help furbabies everywhere xx

Happy Monday 🫶🏻 Here’s a few cuties from last week ! 🌞 it’s going to be a hot few days but all appointments are still running as normal and the salon is staying cool with the air con ❄️

💧 Please do not walk your pup to their appointment to avoid over heating and burning their little paws

💧 Make sure they are hydrated and drinking plenty

We’ve been a little quiet with posting pups lately, but we’re back with an exciting update! ✨ We’ve been testing out a new shampoo we discovered at Crufts, and we’re in love with it! 🌿 It’s natural, vegan, cruelty-free, silicone-free, alcohol-free, phosphate-free, and DEA-free. We’ve seen amazing results this shampoo deeply cleaning and conditioning coats without harsh chemicals, and it smells absolutely delicious! 🧴🌿
