Inserts… being able to fabricate shoes is a great tool to have in the box. Below are a variation of shoes that have inserts welded in to: aid in rehab of injuries, to help with conformational abnormalities or to manipulate surface interaction when working on artificial surfaces.

Shoeing cycle duration… sometimes it’s just as important to look at your horses feet at the end of their shoeing cycle to check that it’s working for your horse. Check the foot hasn’t overgrown the shoe, that the clenches are still tight and that the shoe isn’t too worn and adjust the shoeing duration if necessary.
