To Use or Not to Use is the Question ❓
As most of people know, I use the equissage on every other day (if not daily!) on my horses... But most people ask why and what benefits it has..
So I’m going to explain!
Equissage devices have been developed in Australia and the UK from the Niagara Therapy Medical Devices that have been used on humans for both injuries and mobility for over 60 years. This equipment is used in hospitals, clinics and sport clubs. It’s also built into furniture for home use.
✅ Through ongoing research conducted in Hospitals, Universities, and research institutions, this form of treatment has been proven to be totally non-aggressive, drug free and free of side effects.
✅ The proven medical benefits include Increased Circulation and Lymphatic Drainage, Relaxation of Muscles and Increased Joint Mobility, which in turn, produces better movement and performance for both you and your horse.
✅ The Equissage Back Pack gives a deep tissue Cycloidal Massage to the entire horse. Due to the unique action of CVT, the Back Pack actively Improves Circulation, Relaxes Muscles while providing Passive Exercise and promotes Lymphatic Drainage.
✅ Whilst in itself is not a cure, the use of the Hand Pack in conjunction with Equissage Back Pack can significantly speed up healing of many conditions and provides an ongoing treatment option for optimal results.
⭐️For the best theraputic benefits, the Hand Unit should always be used in conjunction with the Equissage Back Pad, as the action of the Hand Pack will be far more effective when the horse’s lymphatic system is already stimulated by the Back Pad.⭐️
The first photo is of a resting horse, the second photo is of a horse after 25 minutes of equissage and the third photo is of the same horse 5 hours after the 25 minute equissage session!
The benefits are in the photos....
So what does equissage help with:
• Local blood circulation;
• Venous drainage;
• Improve Blood and Lymphatic drainage;
• Swollen joints;
• Joint mobility;
• Respiratory problems;
• Sore and cold backs;

I use Equissage on my horses and the benefits are amazing!
From Laminitis to helping hoof abscesses to helping our older horses with arthritis! I swear by equiassage and I know many performance riders / racing stables also swear by it.
🦄So there you go guys - the reason why we use equissage in conjunction with chiropractors and muscle therapist's. They all have their place and they all work together. 🦄
