A Little Change at C&Co 🐾

You may have noticed that things look a little different around here! 🐶🐱

We’ve recently given our logo a little refresh — and there’s now a very important new addition… a cat! 🐱

There’s a reason for that. Alongside my love of dogs and fostering, I’m also a huge cat lover and have four rescue cats of my own. ❤️

So it felt only right that C&Co reflects all of the animals that are such a big part of my life.

As well as dog walking and puppy visits, I’m now also offering cat visits for those times when your feline friends need a little company, care and attention while you’re away. 🐾

Dogs, cats and everything in between — C&Co is growing! 🐾

Duke 🐾❤️

This handsome boy is Duke, he is a large breed 9-year-old gentleman who has been in foster with me for around a month.

Duke has spent most of his life in shelters across Romania, and sadly, some of his experiences have left their mark. When he first arrived with me, he was frightened to trust people, unsure how to receive affection and understandably nervous about the world around him.

But look at him now. 🥹❤️

Every single day, Duke is making progress. He is now coming up onto my bed looking for affection, wagging his tail, enjoying cuddles and even allowing people he doesn’t know to pet him and give him treats at the doggy park.

He is learning that humans can be kind.
He is learning that it is okay to trust.
And, most importantly, he is learning that he is safe and loved. 🐾

Duke is currently in foster with me in Paisley and is looking for his forever home.

Ideally, we are looking for a quiet, calm and patient home where his new family will understand that he may need a little time to fully settle and continue building his confidence. He has so much love to give, and watching him discover that love has been incredibly special.

Duke does walk with a limp due to an old injury, so he isn’t looking for long or intensive walks. What he does love, however, is meeting new friends at the dog park, having a wander at his own pace and enjoying trips to the beach. 🌊🐕

He doesn’t need someone to change him. He just needs someone willing to give him the time, patience and love to show him that he never has to be afraid again.

Duke is ready to find his forever home ❤️

Well the whirlwind romance is over as this beautiful little boy went to his new home today ❤️ what a pleasure it’s been to foster this little boy for the week. I knew he wouldn’t be here long, such a happy and loving little guy. It’s always hard to see them go but soo worthwhile to share the time we had and see them be given a chance at a wonderful new life. 🙏
