Its a snow day! Feel like a kid on Christmas Morning 🤣❄️

A reminder for any pooches with coats & fleeces to leave those out for their walks today as well as any towels for drying!

🎆🐾 Fireworks & Your Dog: Keeping Them Calm 🐾🎆

Fireworks can be scary for our furry friends, but a little prep can make a big difference! Here are some quick tips to keep your dog settled and start desensitising them:

🐶 Before Fireworks Season
• Play quiet firework sounds at home and slowly increase the volume over time – pair it with treats or play so your dog builds a positive association.
• Create a “safe zone” with blankets, toys, and maybe a worn T-shirt that smells like you.
• Practice calm activities like sniffing games or engagement training to build confidence.

🎇 On the Night
• Keep curtains closed and lights on to soften flashes.
• Turn on the TV or soothing music to muffle noise.
• Stay calm yourself – your dog will take cues from you!
• Offer a long-lasting chew or lick mat to keep them busy and relaxed.

💡 Extra Help
• Try anxiety wraps or snoods, calming sprays, or speak to your vet if your dog really struggles.
