How many different surfaces do you have in your clinic setting?

Don't underestimate how much neurostimulation a dog receives when walking across different textured surfaces....its a powerful and inexpensive tool and easy for owners to access.

Thick mats, think mats, cork mats, hessian mats, yoga mats, yoga pads (yes you can get 1 inch low ones safe for your IVDD Dachshunds) rubber chip, non-slip tiles, anti-slip tape, concrete, tarmac, grass (long and short) - the list is exhaustive!

Did you know that you can use larger targets to help your dog become more aware of their body and create better posture in a stand, sit and down.

If your dog steps off a target do they notice and make any attempts to get back on the target? That shows a good understanding of body awareness! 🤓👍🤘✌️💪 Keep up the good work!!

Do you want to increase the success rate of your clients and their dogs? Keep them engaged with clear criteria and help reduce any frustration (especially from those high drive dogs)?🤓

Foot targets are your answer!
They dont have to be small or high, but there needs to be a clear difference between the target and the surrounding flooring.
The ones you see in the picture are only 1 inch tall and work well for the smallest of dogs.

Starring Fergus the Springer spaniel...
He very rarely stands still out on a walk but when he does he enjoys maintaining his proprioception skills with little challenges in the environment (non-slip and safe to get on and off).
