Erik Mackechnie-Guire is teaching at Wester Lovat on the 25th/26th July - spaces available 🤗 EDIT: NOW FULL 🤗

Erik has kindly offered me some dates to teach up north. He really doesn’t need an introduction but for anyone who isn’t familiar with Erik; he brings endless knowledge and years of varied experience.

Erik is a fellow of the BHS, is currently the GB para dressage pathway manager, esteemed showing judge, highland pony breeding extraordinaire.

Erik is happy to teach all levels of horse/rider from nervous or novice/young horses through to more advanced partnerships.

Very exciting to have Amy Bannister-Bell coming to teach on the 31st of August & 1st of September 😄
Amy has a wealth of knowledge from competing in the show ring to producing top class racehorses for the track.
If you’re starting out or wanting to step up - all levels will be catered for.

DELIGHTED to have Amy teaching in the North of Scotland on 31 August and 1 September.  Please book as soon as you can as these days need to be filled up and spaces will be offered to others via the Pony and Riding Club's.  Amy is up in the area with her Wife Alice and their 3 children visiting her...

We have lift off! Finally got our season under way at Hopetoun in the BE100open. Relieved we haven’t forgotten what to do 😅 Nel producing a very chilled test for 31.0, a slightly complacent pole at the first fence in the SJ but a keen bean. We were both very happy to be back XC, later start to the season showed with the rust slowly wearing off as we went round finishing with just a few time faults.. possibly not helped by forgetting to pack my stopwatch 🥲

Delighted to finish in the placings for 6th 💜

It’s been a very busy few months with juggling work and selling two ginger mares on behalf of their owners, both have found super homes and I can’t wait to see how they get on.

We’ve also had some lovely faces and super ponies visiting the yard and using the arena to get some training in with mum and I all the way from the Western Isles 🌊

I’ll be looking to get some clinics organised so open to suggestions for instructors and if people would prefer evening or weekend lessons.

Great day riding out at Loch Ness Riding taking part in their 10km fun ride with Sandra and Aimee ☀️

The sun shone and the scenery was amazing! Really good way to test and build on their fitness. They both powered up and down the hills and paddled across various streams and worked their way across the different footing along the way. I really don’t know how endurance riders do 50km a day 😳

I’ll definitely be keeping a look out for the next one, thank you to Candy Cameron and Julie Matheson for organising, hosting and being so accommodating.

Looking for a 5🌟 home - Beautifully moving with a kind temperament. She is very straight forward and easy to do anything with. Excels at prelim and novice level dressage and has double clears at british novice (90cm) Showjumping. Enjoys hacking alone or in company.

Indie is a perfect all rounder for a competent rider who is looking to go out and have fun. Has been ridden by a less experienced rider but to get the best out of her I feel would be better suited to someone who can add to her education.

Great with the farrier and no bother to clip. Up to date with her teeth and vaccinations. Loads and travels well in a trailer or a lorry. Has previously passed a 5 stage vetting.

I’m advertising on behalf of her owner but she can be viewed near Beauly, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Excellent trial facilities available.

April 🌼🐑

It’s not been the best start to the season with two of the Scottish events being rained off and many others down south in the same boat. The amount of work that goes in prior to these events is huge and the weathers gods haven’t been nice. My fingers are crossed that we get some warmer weather soon. I really take my hat off to anyone farming in this weather 💪🏼

It’s been great to see lots of new faces hiring the arena despite the horrid weather. Please get in touch if interested 🤗

I’m on the lookout for a horse for client:
Something around the 15hh to 16hh mark, must hack alone and in company. Good to travel and stand well for the farrier. Owner would like to do riding club with aiming to jump up to 70/80cm. Needs to be safe and sane to handle on and off the ground. No hot blooded dafties that enjoy a buck, bolt or rear. Mare or gelding. 5 🌟 home and will be totally spoilt. Healthy budget for the right horse.

I will be advertising a horse in the coming weeks. Well bred all rounder type mare. Standing at 16.1hh and rising 10yrs old. 🌸 March 🌸

Now the sun is starting to shine and the days are getting longer it’s great seeing people getting out and about on their horses.

13th of March - Liz Bell is teaching, spaces available for flatwork or jumping late morning / midday.

19th of March - Katharine from Topspec is coming to offer free nutritional advice.. just a few spaces left late afternoon💚💛

From this Sunday I will have a grid up if anyone would like to have a play 🤸🏼‍♀️

The arena is available to hire £15 per hour and £5 for each additional horse 🤍

She offers free no obligation nutritional advice, a weigh bridge for your horse or pony, a bespoke dietary plan taking into account the changes of the season 🌱 and will be handing out money off Topspec vouchers.

You don’t need to be currently feeding Topspec to benefit from the award winning advice.

Lastly, if you want to make the visit worthwhile you’re welcome to hire the arena or give me a shout for a lesson. Jumps will be out so anyone is welcome to use them 🤗
