Exciting news coming from RGE and Radley Green Riding Club…. 🤩

RGRC are beginning to host Show Jumping competitions at RGE… these will be hosted on various weekends and afternoon-evenings during the week…..🏇

Our first one is Tuesday 19th August 🗓️

✨WE CANNOT WAIT FOR OUR NEXT CONFIDENCE CAMP ✨

The next confidence camp is being held from Friday 5th September till Sunday 7th September. 🗓️
This is an extension of our Confidence and Cake Clinics with RG Coach / and Juliet Cottey teaching. This camp is targeted for people and their horses who need that extra confidence boost in a no pressure environment. For £325 per person this includes;

🏘️ Use of a stable, hay for the whole duration on the camp, initial bedding, more bedding can be purchased if required
🧼Biogenie stable disinfectant
🥪 Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from The Feed Shed (first meal on Friday is dinner)
🛋️ Use of our club house
☕️ All day use of urn for tea and coffee and cold water and squash available
🐎 3 paired 45 minute lessons over the weekend and an initial 30 minute initial assessment and meet and greet with your potential partner and instructor
🧘A mindset evening and a social evening

This camp can truly be catered to the individual needs as we offer unmounted or mounted options and specifics such as if you are jumping or non jumping.

So after many many requests, we are pleased to announce that a date is set and bookings are now open for our next ✨CLEAR ROUND ARENA EVENTING✨

🗓️Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 🗓️

This is running as it did before, with show jumping course first, which then flows straight on to cross country course.

All heights catered for from 40-100 and the opportunity to do a “pick and mix” of heights around the cross country course within the arenas. You will need to book into the class you are comfortable to jump show jumping in 🏇

This is a super fun no pressure event open to all 😁

Just time to hoover up some camp leftovers 😁 Sadly the leftover garlic bread never made it as far as a plate thanks to Michael 😂

I wonder if I can miscount some chocolate brownies or cheesecake for more 'unfortunate' leftovers!

We held our first 'big' event at The Feed Shed in our newly licenced bar and cafe on Friday and what a night we had!! We catered for the newly formed Radley Green Riding Club at their AGM and quiz with a sit down meal and full bar and hopefully a lot of fun was had by all.

I had to call in the Big Guns to help out as my usual gang were nearly all otherwise engaged (rude! 😂) and despite it being an absolute baptism of fire they were all completely tremendous! Probably the hottest competition we've ever had for Employee of the Week and it's taken a few days of quiet contemplation to reach a decision. Hayley Voake put in a shift and kept the ship (and me!!) on an even keel, Kelly Barnard, cocktail queen, Laura Sims waitress extraordinaire, Jo Blackaller and Donna Wilson bar queens til the bitter end, Maxine Fox bossing the calming vibes, my lovely OG Jess Barnard zooming around until she ran out of petrol and heroic Michael Daniels king of the dishwasher and buyer of wine! One stood just a tiny bit above the rest though, so for only crying 3 times on the day EotW can only really go to one person! Try and look at the camera next time though EotW, give the people what they want!!

Radley Green riding club will be holding their first AGM and fund raising event on Friday 11th July at Radley Green Equestrian

Come and join us for a fun evening🤗

⭐️ Presentation of point’s trophies 🏆
⭐️ 7.30pm Food provide by The feed shed cafe
⭐️ Quiz (teams of up to 8 people)
⭐️ Raffle with many great prizes 🎟️
⭐️ Bar (paying) will be open 🥂🍷
⭐️ £20 per person for food and quiz

We're going to be updating our opening hours from next weekend - Saturdays 9 - 5 and Sundays 10 - 4 :)
We'll also be open every day across the 2 weeks of the Easter holidays with a couple of exceptions - April 15th we'll be open from midday and April 16th we won't be open at all I'm afraid.

Don't forget, the coffee machine is available daily for you to use when the Feed Shed is closed :)

We've made good progress with the spruce up! Not quite finished yet but so far so good :)

If there are any horse/animal/countryside artists or photographers who would like to display/advertise their art in here do please get in touch. And we have a noticeboard available for general use.

We're open all weekend 😀

We're going to be having a bit of a spruce up next week 🥳 The self service coffee machine will be availablel all week as usual and we'll be good to go again next weekend.
Meanwhile we're open today, the sun is shining, the arenas are busy, come for a visit :)
