Unfortunately due to damage with the storm we need to cancel all lessons, we couldn’t get the ponies in due to a fallen tree!

Since two of our horses will already be sold by this Saturday I will need everyone to pre book lessons to ensure they’re is enough space, please contact me on this so I can keep track!

I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone for the lovely comments we are received regarding our closer.

Fortunately all of our wonderful horses/ponies have lovely new homes with the girls from our riding school and will be staying in their home here at Bargower, thank you for all the interest in them, they are very sought after.

As stated previously I will continue to do private lessons after we close and I will put availability on here and message privately to confirm.

So the hardest post I’ve ever had to write is coming!! Yes we are closing as on the 2nd Feb 2025!

This has been the hardest decision that Miguel and I have had to make, the yard has been running for over 40 years with Miguel and Cathy, I have been at Bargower for 27 years (I was a young 16 year old) when I started, this has not been a easy decision and we are devastated that this has come but we feel it’s right! I understand that you or your child are upset but please have support for us, this is our livelihood and lives, I will continue to teach private lessons and small groups into February aslong as I have the horses but this is dependent on communication!! I will do it IF you book in with me.

Please understand that I can’t reply to every message as I’m inundated and if I’m honest devastated also.

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS.

As of next Sunday (5th January) we will no longer be doing lessons on Sundays. Saturdays will continue as normal and our Sunday riders are more than welcome to join us on a Saturday for group lessons or private lessons where available.
The lessons must be pre-booked as spaces are not guaranteed otherwise.
We hope to see you all in the new year.
