I'm a newly qualified, fully insured groomer with an absolute passion for pooches! I have just completed my Level 2 plus styling training at Snoots Dog Grooming Training Centre and i'm now taking on clients working out of the Dog Haven in Huntington. I look forward to pampering your furry friends!

Here’s some summer snaps for you guys! Some of these doggies have gone shorter for the summer weather, and some of them have had a million grass seeds picked out of her fur!

We’ve tried to be really careful in the studio this summer with the heat - we have an air con unit thank god but some of these days have been too hot to dry the pooches fully (don’t want them to overheat! 🥵)

Grass seed season is also upon us - make sure to check your doggies for any that could be stuck in their paws or eyes and other places - unfortunately if left it can be dangerous as sometimes they can work their way into the skin and cause infection so beware!

July is fully booked but currently taking bookings for August so if you’re pooch is in need for a last min summe trim - drop us a message and I’ll get back to you asap! 😃

From Puppy’s first groom to Fully Grown!

These adorable boys and girls have been coming to me from a very young age, some as young as 14 weeks. As soon as they’ve had their jabs and are old enough to walk outside they are ready!

It’s so important to introduce your puppy to grooming as soon as possible to get them used to the surroundings and grooming routine from an early age. Brushing at home and regular visits to the grooming studio will help keep your puppy’s coat knot free and in good condition.

For breeds like these below, you will need a slicker brush and a metal comb to help maintain a healthy coat - (make sure you can comb right from the skin to ensure a completely knot free coat).
Remember, brushing is a preventative measure, not for use only when knots appear!

Big love for the Cockapoos and Cavapoos! Two of the most common breeds I groom in the studio. Both breeds require regular brushing due to their curly coats, a good quality slicker brush and a metal comb to double check your work should do the trick. 🙂

Their trips to the groomers vary as well, some come to me every 4 weeks due to their owners liking them long, but some can go every 8 due to their owners liking them short. Whatever is best for our furry friends! ❤️

Doesn’t he look handsome!?
As you can see, looking a lot slimmer too.
It took a while but that is the majority of Regan’s fur that came out… some was also still in the bathroom. 🤣
I’m sure my colleagues were still finding white fluff around the next day probably 🙈😁

The other week I had such a satisfying time grooming a Husky called Regan.
He was the sweetest boy, 10 years old but still had the spirit of a puppy! Definitely due a groom as the video will show!
There is no photographic evidence but my extra accessory for this groom was a big purple bee bonnet with my ear defenders over the top. I swear if anyone was walking past the salon window I’d have looked a right wally 😂
