April is Pet First Aid Awareness Month - Managing bleeding.

A nick here and there courtesy of a bramble happens to the best of us. This usually can be sorted with a cuddle from Mum or Dad and a treat... but severe blood loss can be life threatening.

External bleeding is easy to spot, but internal bleeding can be trickier, and is very serious, requiring emergency medical care. Watch out for pale gums, a weak and rapid pulse, a swollen tummy, sudden collapse and potentially bleeding from the mouth, nose or bottom. If you notice any of these symptoms, act quickly to get you dog expert medical care.

Your should always be your first port of call if you think your pup is feeling under the weather, you never know when your dog may need you to step in to offer emergency .

Easter is a fun time for the whole family, but it’s important to keep our furry friends safe during the !

We all know the dangers of chocolate, so of course are a big no-no, but there's a few more things to consider over the next few days:

🐰 Obviously, keep chocolate and sweets out of reach! Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs and can cause very severe symptoms, and can even be fatal.
🐰 Easter decorations like fake grass and plastic eggs can be very tempting for pups, and could cause digestive issues if swallowed.
🐰 Check your dog's paws and coat after outdoor play to make sure they haven't picked up any tiny pieces from Easter egg hunts.

If your pup eats something they shouldn't, contact your vet immediately! Enjoy a safe and very hoppy Easter with your dog.

What’s messier than a mucky pup? A mucky pup shaking their tail in an enclosed space! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Soggy pawprints are no issue for holidaymakers over at Haven Church Farm Bognor Regis Pagham though! Muddy pups can enjoy a bubbly wash’n’dry in a brand new Pristine Paws unit on site, so they’re sparkling clean and cuddle-dry before they head back to their caravan or lodge ❤️

🐾 We Love Our Owners'... Dogs! 🐾

We’re excited to share that we’ve partnered with Pristine Paws Dog Wash to offer a new doggy spa experience right here at the park! 🧼✨

The new Dog Wash Facility is located next to the Owners Lounge, so your furry friends can clean up after an adventurous walk. 🐕💆‍♀️

We’ve also added the Bark Park Area – an enclosed space with benches and picnic tables, where you can hang out while your dog enjoys their spa day. It’s a great spot to relax, take in the fresh air, and spend some quality time with your pup. 🏞️🌳

We hope you and your dogs enjoy it as much as we do! ❤️🐶

However, a bubbly bath after outdoor fun can help keep the chaos in check - isn't that right, Flo?
