Personality – Flash is a beautiful boy inside and out! He has such a kind nature, a smashing personality and is an all round fun and loving dog. He absolutely loves people, gets on with the other dogs very well and he loves playing with his ball. Flash would very easily be bonded to a person and incredibly loyal which can manifest to a degree to separation anxiety.

Suitable Home - Flash is looking for a home with someone who has experience of his breed and can provide him with plenty of exercise. He loves his walks and is brilliant off lead so he will be looking for two decent walks a day. Flash doesn't necessarily need to be homed with a companion dog although he probably wouldn't mind one which would help with his separation anxiety. He'd love a garden to enjoy playing ball in and is looking for a cat free home.

Personality - Willow is a happy, friendly young lady with lots of energy and needs to find her forever home with no cats! She is very good off lead with great recall but does tend to lunge at dogs when she is on the lead. She is an intelligent dog and anyone lucky enough to have her will enjoy giving her lots of exercise and mental stimulation.

Suitable home - Willow will be most settled with people that can be at home the majority of the time and have experience of bringing young dogs to maturity. She will need two substantial walks each day and plenty of development games throughout the day to avoid any boredom or naughtiness. We would like to home her with a compatible companion dog and have her own large garden to play in with her new pal.

Hi there I am Reeva, I have been at Holbrook a little while now, and I have to say I feel comfortable, I am pleased to report there is plenty of food, my belly doesn't rumble anymore, and that means I can concentrate on the things I enjoy!

I am enjoying playing with the other dogs, and I have been having some great fun with the volunteers, I really enjoy going for a walk and well, I enjoy the treats and meal times!

Taylor doesn't mind one bit that it's muddy, as long as he gets his belly rubs.

It's so wonderful to see him so happy and confident lately.

It can take Taylor some time to feel confident around new people.

Our Volunteers 💙

These people dedicate their own time to helping with the care of our wonderful dogs & we are forever grateful for them 💕

They work closely with the dogs daily and learn & understand what our dogs need from a home based on their background, how they adapt to certain situations & also how they blossom in the company of other dogs. The team are a vital part of helping to ensure these dogs go to the best homes possible alongside a woman that has been homing dogs for 30 years with a 97% success rate.

We have a small rehoming team of volunteers who deal with over 3000 applicants a year & we are proud to say we reply to every applicant 🐾

Without question there are plenty of loving homes out there for dogs, but it has to be the right one to ensure it is a forever one for them so please be assured we are as always doing what is best for the dog 💙

Our handsome boy Taylor is growing more confident by the day.

He hasn't had a very easy start in life, but since arriving here at Holbrook he has come on in leaps and bounds.

He has recently been off exploring with one of our volunteers.

He is quite nervous of new people, so busy woodland adventures were a big ask, but he behaved perfectly well. He looked to his leader for reassurance when things got a little bit much and didn't bark once!

He was also very well behaved in the car, sitting comfortably on the back seat and having a good look out of the window at the world around him.

It can take Taylor some time to warm up to people, but once he is comfortable with you he really is the most loving dog and so many of our volunteers are absolutely head over heels in love with him.

He definitely prefers the company of females, dogs and people.

He would love a confident female dog as a companion. He enjoys the company of other dogs.

He requires a home with an owner that will be at home much of the time, allowing him to settle in and feel safe.

He would also love some long walks together, he really does enjoy exploring - preferably in lovely rural spaces as built up areas can be quite overwhelming.

And an understanding of rescue dogs and their requirements, particularly those who have had very troubled lives.

He unfortunately cannot live in a home with cats or children.

A couple of years ago Beanie went to the most wonderful home; you have probably seen him often on facebook because mum takes some amazing photos! Well, they came back to us for little Monty - we did warn them he could be a tad difficult at times but we knew they would persevere and just look at the fun he is having - and of course he is giving them a laugh or two!

I'm sure many of you remember Buddy... Our big, gorgeous, soppy boy!!!!! A few weeks ago he was lucky enough to find the most amazing home. He's now on his first holiday in Cornwall, where he's having the most amazing time and being the perfect boy. As you can see he's made a new friend and having great fun in the water!!!!

We have a lovely big pile of wood chips waiting to be spread around the field! The dogs think it's there for another reason and love to clamber all over it!!!!!

Zeus - Available for Adoption Zeus - Age 2 Cats: No Children: No Zeus is a wonderful, affectionate boy who loves to run and play with other dogs. He has undergone some training regarding his nervousness of anything he considers strange and is very confident in the home and more so on his walks. His recall is good but a gunshot could send him into a panic. He would thrive in a quiet home with an experienced rescue owner who can be there the majority of the time to help him build on his confidence as he struggles with visitors to the house. He will need a large garden and plenty of exercise and it would help his confidence if he could live with a confident companion dog who loves to play. Missing cat, her name is Crimson and she is about 4 years old and 12 pounds and we recently put a pink femine collar on her. She was last seen at our home at 18 Holiday Road, Holbrook at 4:30pm. She is a strictly indoors cat and she likes to hide but saying her name may get her to come. She is microchip to our old address 227 West Elm Street Brockton Ma. Hi guys Friends Of Holbrook ❤️Holbrooke just an update on my handsome boy Jerry. He's one happy dog and realises this is his forever home. Totally our world. 🐾❤🐕

Wookie looks like she’s found her spot, welcome to your forever home Wookie 🥰

Loki (formerly Elmo) is settling in very well with the family including his older sisters Roxy and Luna (formerly Eclipse, also from Holbrook). He enjoys lots of hugs and has a way of wrapping himself around you to ensure he gets the most out of a cuddle when needed. Everything was very confusing for him at first as he’d had a very unsettling time, but day by day he’s gaining more confidence and he enjoys stealing toys from Luna and then chasing around after her, he’s very quick at picking up new things as he already knows his name, is great on the lead and is picking up basic commands. He has a very sweet and gentle nature, He’s not sure on the sea or water in general yet but enjoys finding a spot in the sun, cuddling up to his sisters oh and he’s a very loud snorer. PLEASE HELP PACT ANIMAL SANCTUARY & ALL OTHER UK ANIMAL RESCUES BY SIGNING THE PETITION.....

Petition the Government to ensure the money they give to charities goes to ALL charities including animal charities.

YET AGAIN ANIMALS ARE DEEMED NOT WORTHY OF HELP, EVEN THOUGH THE GOVERNMENT PROMISED TO HELP STRUGGLING CHARITIES, BUT THE NATIONAL LOTTERY HANDING OUT THE MONEY ON THEIR BEHALF HAVE SAID NO.....ANIMAL CHARITIES NEED HELP TOO !!!!

PACT Animal Sanctuary not only rescues, rehabilitated, rehome animals and release wildlife back into their natural habitat but it also works closely with special needs groups, vulnerable adults, special needs schools, as well as offers work experience to students and those trying to rejoin the workforce BUT the National Lottery doesn't recognize this valuable work we do and still refuses to allow us to apply to the Governments promised help for charity.... This is so wrong animals and these community groups will suffer if we don't get the promised help!

At last, we have it officially, the lottery does not give to animal welfare even though it is the taxpayers £370 million they are giving away for the government.
What can be done about it?
something must change, 30% of the population support animals, and it's their money being used.
So many of our animal rescuers will go to the wall if they are not helped. write to your MP/Papers/media.
