Featuring Duggee🐶

Hi, I’m Lizzy 👋🏻 I’m usually the one seen in Horncastle walking my 2 pups, or adding the occasional extra in the form of another family dog. I grew up with a variety of dog breeds in my family, from Border Collies, to Labradors, to Staffies, and I have always loved being outdoors with the animals at my side. 🐶🌳

I started PBL Pet Care back in 2018 (I think) under a different name, primarily because I loved animals and wanted to spend as much time as possible alongside them with my college course of Animal Care. But I also understand every pet is different and always put safety and comfort as my first priority, making sure pets feel loved and cared for until you get home 🏠

When I’m not spending time with other pets, I’m usually walking my dogs, giving my guinea pigs treats and finding a game to play with my cat 🐱

Mushu 🐱

A cat who firmly believes that communication is key to a happy life. 🎤
Whether he’s narrating his day with a constant stream of commentary or demanding his pre-adventure snacks, Mushu is never at a loss for words.

He’s a true adventurer at heart, but he’s a professional about it: he never heads out for a shift of bird-watching 🐦 or bug-hunting 🐜 without his mandatory, pre-patrol treat.

Once his appetite is satisfied, he’s all business—until he’s back inside, where he transforms into the most loving, purr-heavy companion you could ask for. He may be loud, but he has the biggest heart in the house. 🩷🐾

🐾 Meet my Duo 🐾

Poppy🌸: She is my 9 year old (nearly 10) 🥲 chihuahua! The smallest dog with the biggest “don’t mess with me” energy. Her biggest loves are me (obvs), walks literally anywhere and a good pup cup 😋 She may have quite the mouth on her, but her one true love is another local dog, who is 10x the size of her… and I’m not joking 🤣

Bonnie💥: My 4 year old Jack Russell… a real nut case 🤪. On a walk Bonnie acts like she’s a real savage, but in fact is the biggest scaredy cat 🙀, a cat jumped out of a hedge at her once and she squealed down the street until we got home 🤦🏼‍♀️

My two are living proof that I can deal with a reactive pup or two, as both have their share of fears and bad reactions. So please feel free to get in touch if I can help you with a needy reactive pup of your own 🥰

This week I have taken care of Beauty, Beast and the ducks. I have known these pups since they were born, they’re a couple months younger than my dog Poppy, so it is a real privilege to be entrusted with this job over and over again 😊 We all get along very well, although I found Goose (aptly named if I do say so) to be quite a naughty duck 😈 as he would chase me and try to get my ankles if I wasn’t paying enough attention 😂

Fresh faces to the page 🐱!
Meet Mr Diggles and Willow. Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking care of these 2 sweeties whilst their pawrents went to get married. 💒
Some very different personalities, but both very friendly and loving. Willow loved to play with her abundance of toys 🧸, whereas Mr Diggles, who could be described as quite the sensitive soul, was slightly more reserved. That being said, I managed to have multiple strokes with both cats, hearing lots of purring, and all in all a lovely stay. 🩷🐾

Hi everyone. In the next couple of weeks my contract within my job is changing and I am going to be available in day times to hopefully (fingers crossed 🤞🏻) restart the pet jobs I used to enjoy. If anyone is looking for a dog walk or any small pet help please feel free to get in touch 🐾🩷

An up to date introduction of myself is necessary here I think. So hi, 👋🏻 I’m Lizzy, I’m a dog obsessed girlie who is mainly seen with the 2 dogs of my own (in the photo) and my families pets. I have occasionally taken care of colleagues/friends pets as well. I have a level 2 animal care qualification and I am always looking to keep on top of this and learn new things to be able to provide top quality care.

In case anyone joins in with pancake 🥞 fun like we do 🥰😋

🥞 HAPPY PANCAKE DAY! 🥞

Dog friendly pancake recipe:

Ingredients:
50g of oats
1 banana mashed
2 eggs
Toppings (we chose peanut butter)

1. Blend the banana, eggs and oats together and leave for 5 minutes.

2. Heat a pan over medium heat, spoon 2 tablespoons of spoons of batter into the pan

3. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Flip if you’re brave enough 🤪

4. Cover in toppings and enjoy!

Adding more walks into my day again when I have time around work and my days off.

This is Arthur, he is my sisters dog 🥰 He is still just a baby and loves his walks, and wants to meet all the new friends. ❤️
