I actually have a background in land and sea surveying and David's background was in HM forces, which he s
erved in for 22 years. During his service he spent time serving as an attack dog handler and also as an Infantry Medic. He is currently a remote paramedic in the Oil & Gas industry. Both lifestyles were found to be a little bit fast paced and quite disruptive to our home lives. Therefore, we decided to chase our ultimate dream of building a small business offering a pet service, caring for dogs, cats and other small animals. We are the very proud owners of 2 dogs and 5 cats which in itself can be a handful. However, we wouldn't want our home any other way! Feel free to go to our family page to find out more about them. Both my husband and I were brought up with lots of different pets. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigeons/exotic birds and even a Shetland Pony named Nugget. As you can see, various types of pets surrounding us from childhood right up until when we left home. My own dad regularly took in rescued dogs and gave them a home. With this in mind, we both understand how necessary and important it is to make sure that your pet is integrated, with the correct training and socialisation, into the household with fully open arms, whilst also making sure that they themselves know how welcome they are in the home. Building Paws and Relax Pet Services is based on the knowledge, that there are animal lovers out there that can't always get home to walk their dog at lunchtime and/or require somebody friendly and reliable, who can cover daily requirements for cats and small animals whilst away on holiday. Or someone who ultimately wants to know how to train their dog to show a wanted behaviour when the owner asks for it. Do you want to know why we know all of this? Because we, as a couple, have been there and needed those services when they haven't always been available...
