This is Loki enjoying some cosy time in his bed. Completely unrelated to this, if you would like to leave me a review, apparently this is possible via my page. I, naturally, have no idea how to do this. If you would like to leave me a review (and work out how to do it) please do and it will also show up on the website

And both of my boys to celebrate

Congratulations to Becky Moore who has been assessed by the APBC to become a Full CAB member and an ABTC-registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist!

The CAB Standard is suitable for those working assessing animals’ behaviour and producing behaviour modification plans, such as self-employed behaviourists. You can find out more at: https://bit.ly/47YgBMe

Fantastic article written about dog training and behaviour in the US. It applies here too! The UK dog training and behaviour industry is not regulated!

Whenever problem behaviors arise, people often seek a “trainer", but behavior outcomes can worsen significantly with the wrong professional.

It’s always lovely to get feedback from the people (and dogs) I work with:

Hi Becky, I wanted to send you a feedback/recommendation for your business because you helped us so much with Benji x

Becky is so professional and really understands dogs and their unique needs. She takes the time to get to know you and the family and the dog and how best to help. She helped us change our life around and our relationship with our dog, going from a naughty and frustrated spaniel who we weren’t sure if we could keep to a well loved and adjusted family pet. Becky helped us through all of the good citizen awards and she has helped us turn our dog into a pleasure to own and spend time with. Her methods are easy to understand and to maintain at home, lots of positive reinforcement and games etc. would highly recommend

Thanks Hannah and Benji

Looking for someone to help with your animal's behaviour? If you can't find a Full member via our website, please contact [email protected] for a list of Provisional members.

Provisional members are those that have demonstrated that they meet the ABTC role standard for required Knowledge and Understanding. This may have been via an ABTC recognised course or via the APEL assessment route. Provisional members are able to conduct behaviour consultations but have not yet achieved the requisite experience to become Full members.

Vet referrals are a simple process. It should not involve any additional cost to you or a consultation fee. The process itself involves the vet checking with you that they can share your animal's information with me. They complete the form and email it back. Sorted.
