Tiny & Honey - 8 years - Female - Black and Tan - Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie
It takes a special kind of patience to earn trust of a bonded pair. Tiny and Honey have come from a multi-dog home. When they first arrived, their physical state told the story with matted coats and an injury to one's face. Tiny, the larger yorkie, is the leader. Honey will follow and get guidance and reassurance. We would prefer the girls to go together. They will need toilet training, so a privately owned garden will be needed to help them with training. They are adjusting to being walked on lead. We're delighted to say that some of our longest stay dogs found their forever homes this weekend, including little Mojo! Have a fabulous new life, sweetie!

Mojo - 7 years, 5 months- Male - White - Maltese/Poodle cross
Mojo is 7 years old but is very energetic and full of life! This friendly boy is looking for a fresh start and a loving place to call home. He has not had the easiest transition lately. His original owner passed away and he was taken in by a family member. Mojo was left for 12-13 hours a day. He simply was not getting the time, exercise or attention he needed. Now in the care of the RSPCA, Mojo has had a full MOT and has been neutered - and a scale and polish on his toothy pegs. Mojo is sensitive and can be a little head shy to start. He will need a patient home and possibly an adult-only home. Because of his previous long hours being left, he need will toilet training. Mojo will need a privately-owned, secure garden. He is settling back into walks and getting used to a harness. He would not like to live with a cat. And he would prefer a home without other dogs so he gets all the attention. Betty - 10 weeks - Female - Grey - Scottish Fold
Betty was brought into our Clinic just before closing on a very hot day by a lady who had found her. She had been dumped under a ground floor balcony at around 3 weeks of age. Poor Betty was unwell, with conjunctivitis, ulcerated eye, riddled with fleas, underweight, hungry and very thirsty - and probably would not have lived much longer in the heat and with predators around. Betty has recovered from her health issues. She has suffered with cat flu because of the eye issue and she does still sneeze - but has never had any of the classic cat flu symptoms, and has been cleared by our vet for adoption. Due to her short snout, she will need the food wiped away from each side of her nose and her ears checked and cleaned regularly, as Scottish Fold cats can suffer with ear infections due to dirt accumulating. Her foster carer says, "She has lived with our large dog, who has always lived with cats. Betty spends a lot of time playing with her and gets carried away, biting ears and tails and will need to have time out. So if she lives with a dog, it should be a calm and very tolerant one. She is very playful and such a happy little girl. She has had the run of the whole house for some time now and finds things to play with. Betty is very fast and keeps you on your toes, she will jump in cupboards, shoot up the stairs, jump on the bed, sofas, window sills and has even jumped into the washing machine twice! She has been exposed to all the usual household noises. She would be better suited to older children, as she likes to bite and claw - and charges around. As for going out, she will try to get outside - she will be best suited as an indoor cat. No other cats in the home please. Scottish Fold knowledge is preferred. Star came in via one of our Inspectors. She was covered in fleas and very hungry. She has been given a clean bill of health and is now looking for a fresh start to her young life. Star is very friendly, inquisitive and a joy to be around. She is sleek like a Siamese with beautiful colours in her silky fur. She loves fuss and attention. Once fully settled, she will need access to a garden to explore. No busy roads nearby. Star could live with teenage school children. No other pets in the home please. Smudge - 3 years - Female - Black and White - Domestic Short Hair
Smudge is a remarkable, sweet natured girl who is ready to leave her tough past behind her. She was found as a stray, Smudge arrived into our care with a healed broken nose- an old injury that our vet team suspects likely to be caused by a cruel kick. Despite what she may have been through, she has a loving, friendly nature and rolls on her back for belly rubs. Then her purr revs up. Smudge could live with children of teenage years who have been around cats before. Once fully settled in, she can start to venture into the garden with no busy roads or railways nearby. Daisy - 2 years, 4 months - Female - Tabby - Domestic Short Hair
Meet Daisy, a sweet and sensitive tabby who is searching for a gentle soul to help rebuild her confidence. Daisy was found without a microchip, so sadly we haven't been able to reunite her with her original owner. However it is clear from her soft nature that she was once loved. She shows no malice, only a timid heart that needs some reassurance. Because Daisy is shy, she will need a peaceful environment where she can adjust to being in a home again. She may be able to live with a similar age cat and she may well prefer to stay strictly indoors at first. Once she feels fully settled and feels secure, her new family can slowly introduce her to a secure garden. Beautiful Ludo is looking for her forever family after being found as a stray with no microchip. Despite her uncertain start, she’s settled beautifully into our cattery, and is showing everyone what a lovely girl she is. Ludo could live with a friendly dog but no other cats in the home. She’s an inquisitive tortie who loves to watch the world go by from the window and keep an eye on us humans while we work. She is very playful also. This sweet girl could live with sensible children aged 10+ who have experience around cats and understand when she needs a little space.
