Happy National Black Cat Day!💚
In celebration here are some fun facts about the cool little guys:
🐈‍⬛ Black is the most common cat colour
🐈‍⬛ Despite this, they are the least likely to be adopted
🐈‍⬛ They can rust in the sun
🐈‍⬛ They almost always have yellow eyes
🐈‍⬛The Bombay cat is the only true black cat breed
🐈‍⬛ There’s evidence they may be less susceptible to some diseases
🐈‍⬛ and lastly, they are not bad luck! Just a myth dating back to the Middle Ages

A lot of clients notice the lovely illustrations we have around our practice, as some of you may know, they are our staff pets! We thought we could show you what they look like in real life.
So firstly meet Maggot! Maggot is Abi’s cat, he got his name when he came into the practice where she was working at the time covered in Maggots, she took him home and the rest is history💚

❤️🐾 Restart a Heart Day - Every Second Counts🐾❤️

Did you know CPR isn't just for humans? Our veterinary team can perform CPR on our four-legged friends too! 😺🐶🐰

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure used when the heart stops beating. In veterinary practice, our team may need to act quickly to try to restart a patients heart and help them breathe again.

Although CRP can not save every patient, being prepared, having the right equipment, and working together as a team can make all the difference in an emergency.

Today, we are realising awareness of the importance of CPR for both people and pets. 💚
