Today is a sad day, at 09:14 Merlin-Pops ran over rainbow bridge to be reunited with his family and friends 🌈 🐾 . We are all devastated and there is a huge schnauzer shaped hole In our home and hearts tonight. He has been the best dog and loved everyone who he met! Tonight we have our precious memories and will raise a glass to the cleverest, most fearless and friendly little dog you ever did meet! 💔 😢

It's day one and I've already been causing mischief!
👨 & 👩 were hunting around for the PlayStation Controller which literally controls the smart TV as everything streams from the PS4. They were baffled for aaaaaages as to where it could be, they literally turned the skylounge upside down looking for it. The stumped looks on their faces from the corner of my brows was actually quite funny.
Then in a sneaky act of desperation the cold cupboard door opens and like clockwork my head lifts and ultimately reveals my betrayal... I'd been snoozing on said lost controller for hours!
It was a good game to play to kick off a new year. But note to self... Next time, lay my belly over it, not my chest, to completely avoid detection!

Don't let looks deceive you... I may look like I'm snoozing but my flapper is on alert for the door of the big cold cupboard in the kitchen opening. 👨 thinks it's funny to snack on cheese without sharing it with me so I've had to deploy covert tactics! You can pull the brows over these eyes but you'll never fool my snozzer!
And I know I'm rocking a ginger beard at the moment which is a result of Tumeric which I need at the moment as my old man joints need a little extra boost when it's cold!

S U N D A Y S are the best days... 👩 has no work so she has all day to sit and snuggle with me! Well that's the plan but she also uses Sundays to catch up on boring stuff like food shopping and general life admin too!
There's talk of my last clip of the year this afternoon, I'm not bothered either way but she better locate my onesie if she does as its definitely wintery outside now and my old man joints feel the cold!
Just jumping in as we have had a few lovely messages from you wonderful lot checking in to make sure everything's OK! Please know that we're all fine and dandy but 👩 is working all the hours at the mo and comes home and uses the precious hours before bed to unwind and spend time with me and 👨 so updating my grid isn't a priority at the mo! It'll be this way all the way through to Christmas so if we go a little quiet, don't panic!

B A R K D A Y 🥳 B O Y
Today is my barkday and its been a very relaxed affair! As 👩 has been at work, I spent the day playing with 👨, snoozing and eating my favourite foods until she got home and then played and ate some more and now I'm snoozing again!
It's been a pretty perfect day all in all! And I'm looking forward to some family fun on Sunday, I hope it'll be as fun as our recent trip to Cornwall!
Sorry for not being as active on here as we have been in recent months... Now 👩 is working again, in a very important key worker role during this awful pandemic, she's not spending hours on Insta like she was before and when she gets home, she has been exhausted or just wants to snuggle with me and 👨. But know that we're all OK and will dip in and out when we can!

Snoozy Schnauzer Sunday is almost over! But I have a few more hours to get the zzzz's in in preparation for a new week!
And my plans for next week are to eat, snooze, play, snooze, have a few walks, snooze again and be utterly fabulous... Oh and possibly snooze some more! 😂 🤣 😂 Who's with me!?

Hey there... What ya doing? It would appear that you are enjoying something that my sniffer confirms smells like something tasty and my peepers also confirm this. But in order for me to ensure that it is in fact something that is safe to eat, I should really test this for you before you eat anymore. You see, if you get poorly, then you won't be able to take me for fun walks, practice all of my tricks or think up fun ways for me to eat my meals. Instead, I will have to nurse you 24/7 which will interfere with my snooze schedule, sneaking socks from the airer and wrestling my monkey... What are you still eating for? I know you can hear me speaking to you telepathically, don't pretend that you can't hear me!... Making 'yummmmm' noises isn't helpful either!... OK ok, is this one of those payback times from when I was a puppy and used to 'ignore' you even though I knew exactly what "come" meant?! Because if that's the case, that's a sneaky little game and I've apologised countless times for being a stubborn little sod growing up!... Oi! There's only one bite left... That better be for me!?
