Something a bit different …..

Introducing Dumbo — a gorgeous Nubian goat who came in for treatment yesterday. What a superstar: calm, curious and very friendly. We loved having him with us and look forward to caring for him again over the coming years.

We are excited to announce that we are now registering smallholder clients and look forward to supporting you and your animals in the future.

No herd required — we’re happy to see individual sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs, poultry and other smallholding animals. Home visits are also available.

Morning everyone. A lovely lady has just bought this beautiful cat into us as lt was running up and down Much Wenlock high street looking distressed and avoiding cars.

It’s a middle aged female cat. No identifying chip so we hope someone knows who she belongs too.

She is currently safe at Priory Vets on the high street . If you have any information that could help get her home please call the practice on 01952 977757.

We are having a great few days at the practice this week!

We’ve had some real stars pop in — Horlicks the guinea pig stole hearts, Bubba Bran the new puppy guide dog in training was full of charm, and Summer even rang the bell to get Polly’s attention while they popped by to collect wormers.

Such lovely visits, helping these grey days seem so much brighter!

We’ve also helped a few new puppies into the world and have a 4 yr Vet student seeing practice with us.

The rhythm of practice life is really taking shape as we continue to grow and get to know all our lovely clients.

A quick reminder: there's been a recent outbreak of kennel cough in the area. If your dog is coughing, sneezing, has nasal discharge or seems off, please get in touch for advice so we can help keep everyone safe and healthy. Call us on 01952 977757 or message us to book an appointment.

Caught in the act!

We had a VIP - Very important patient- visit at Priory Vets this week

This lovely girl belongs to our wonderful receptionist, Polly.

She was in with the team for a procedure. While she was waking up from her sedation, she gave us all a good giggle by showing off her absolute best Elvis Presley impression. Just look at that lip curl!

Socks was such a brave girl. We’re happy to report she is now back home, feeling much less groovy and much more like herself, and is being thoroughly spoiled by Polly!

We have had a lovely week at the vets so far this week.

The weather’s been changeable outside, but it’s always warm and cosy inside with the daily coming and goings of all your wonderful pets and our lovely clients.

We’ve had another busy few days — lovely "Pretty in Pink" pup Squidgey popped in for her 2nd vaccination and was an absolute sweetheart. And our happiest client of the week has to be Dame Judy, who could barely wait for her treat from Polly!

Thanks to all our brilliant clients and their pets for keeping us smiling. See you soon!
