Quiet day at JB HQ - lots of walks moved around due to the hot weather.

We had 2 early walks today trying to keep in the shade as much as we possibly could then onto a few home visits as it was far to hot by this time for walks 💛

Nice to see the weather coming down in temp tomorrow so business can resume as normal 🫶🏻

☀️HOT WEATHER REMINDER FOR DOG OWNERS ☀️

Please think twice before walking your dog during the hottest part of the day 🐾

Hot pavements can burn their paws in seconds & dogs can overheat very quickly. Heatstroke is a serious emergency & can sadly be fatal.

A good rule to remember:✋ If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand for 5 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.

Please:
🐶 Walk early morning or later in the evening
💧 Take water with you
🌳 Stick to shaded/grass areas
🚫 Never leave dogs in cars
🏠 If it’s too hot, keep them home

Our dogs rely on us to keep them safe and comfortable. Missing one walk is far better than risking burnt paws or heatstroke.

The temps next week are really ramping up so walks will be altered accordingly, if by the time I reach your pooch & I feel that it’s too hot I’ll then this will be changed from a walk to a home visit.
