🌿 We're back from holiday... and so are the makeover days! 😂✂️

First on today's trim-up list was Silas, who had well and truly embraced the "just got back from holiday" look... otherwise known as feral mane chic! 🤣

After a little EquiLux Spa magic, he's gone from wild child to show ring ready in no time! 😍✨

Silas was also our very willing guinea pig for one of our brand-new Mane & Tail Spa Packages, and wow... the results speak for themselves! His mane is already softer, healthier and so much easier to manage. Safe to say, this package is definitely a keeper! 💙

Being a Welsh A and my daughter's lead rein superstar, we wanted a trim that showed off his gorgeous kind head while still keeping enough length to stay true to the breed standard. Smart, tidy and still unmistakably Welsh – just how we like it! 🦄

And we are back from our holidays! 🎉

Already the evenings are slightly changing, the mornings are getting cooler and what sight it was to behold at the end of July but the humble blackberry!

What's that old wife's tail?

"When the blackberries are out, the rugs come out."

It can only mean one thing that autumn is round the corner (after the last heatwave hopefully!) 🍂

☀️ Holiday Notice ☀️

That's a wrap! The clippers are away, the showers are tucked up and the shampoos and conditioners are having a break.

Just a little update to let everyone know I'll be taking a well-earned break and will be on holiday for the next 2 weeks. 🐴✂️🛁

During this time I'll be switching off, so replies may be a little slower than usual. August appointments will be released and my diary will reopen as soon as I'm back.

Thank you so much for all your continued support and understanding. I can't wait to get back to seeing all your lovely horses looking and feeling their best!

Silas scrubbed up really well for his show prep bath and turned out beautifully!

So beautifully turned out they went and won their class and then went championship and won that too! 🥰

Bathed in nothing but the best products, lightly trimmed up and show prep for makeup after 🥰

When the daughter voluntarily chose to come and help me bathe a horse... yes, voluntarily! 😂🐴

What started as a horse bath and trim up turned into a mini science lesson when she got the chance to learn all about a horse's heart and lungs. Between the splashing, scrubbing, and asking lots of questions, she soaked up plenty of knowledge too (and thankfully not as much water as the horse! 🤣).

I love moments like these—spending quality time together, making memories, and watching her learn through hands-on experiences. It's amazing what children can pick up when they're having fun and getting involved.

So proud of her curiosity and enthusiasm ❤️🐴

Half term means one thing... putting the child to work! 😂🧽🐴

It was all about giving Mila's OG ponies a well-deserved pamper. These are the ponies that started it all — the ones she learned to ride on, built her confidence with, and completely fell in love with the sport because of. ❤️

Many miles, lessons, pony cuddles and happy memories later, they're still just as special. It was lovely to spend some time giving them a bath and making them sparkle, even if there was a lot more water on us than on the ponies at times! 💦✨

It's easy to see why these wonderful ponies stole a little girl's heart all those years ago. They'll always hold a very special place in our family's story. 🐴❤️

Meet the newest member of the family: Silas! ✨

My daughter's dream came true and I think it's safe to say they're already best of friends. Stay tuned for all the pony adventures ❤️❤️

Of course he had to have the best of the bathing experiences as he truly is prince Silas! Who was more excited to bath the pony... Mummy or Mila! 😂😂

We are maxed out on getting anymore new ponies/horses, do not tempt me with anymore, the husband really would pack his bags! 😂

Meet Red ❤️🐴

At 27 years young, Red is still stealing hearts and being thoroughly spoiled by all the daughters who absolutely adore him.

Today was all about getting party-ready for the Pony Club! After a good scrub with products that smelt absolutely amazing, we tackled those stubborn stains with some Blue Equinicals shampoo — turning Red rather blue for a while, much to everyone's amusement! 💙😂

Once he was sparkling clean, we even had a go at plaiting his mane. Red stood patiently through all our efforts and looked every bit the handsome gentleman he is.

He may be a veteran, but he's still the centre of attention and so very much loved. Incredibly lucky to have this special boy in their lives. ❤️
