Dogs haven’t died from missing a walk, but heatstroke is a real thing ☀️🐶

That’s why I take hot weather seriously as a dog walker. There’s loads of other ways to keep dogs mentally stimulated without putting them on hot pavements or stressing them out in the heat.

So if it’s too warm, we just skip the walk and do other stuff instead 🌿 sniff games, enrichment, chill time in the shade — same care, just safer choices.💙

I’ll always assess each day depending on the temperature and the dogs booked in, and may adapt walks where needed rather than walking dogs in direct heat or on very hot pavements.

✨ Cancellation Policy Reminder & Update ✨

Just a quick reminder that all clients agreed to my 24-hour cancellation policy when signing up. This still applies to all regular appointments.

Due to a high number of last-minute cancellations during half term and bank holiday periods, I’ve had to introduce an additional policy to keep things running smoothly:

• Standard appointments: Minimum 24 hours’ notice required
• Half term & bank holidays: Minimum 3 weeks’ notice required

Any sessions cancelled with less notice will be charged in full, as your time slot is reserved exclusively for you.
