I just wanted to thank everyone who sponsored a stocking for Herefordshire Cat Centres cats and kittens for Christmas day. Both the gifts and the £150 were very gratefully received.
To anyone who purchased from my catnip table last Saturday at the event, together you managed to raise £184 for HCC which was so much more than I thought possible and makes my hours of sewing so worthwhile!
Your support is very much appreciated but for now I can put my sewing machine away for this year!
There are catnip pouches and a couple of catnip pyramids still available if anyone is looking for little cat gifts.
I'll try and pop pictures in the comments.

Thankyou to everyone who has sponsored a stocking or Christmas bag for Herefordshire Cat Centres Christmas day residents.
I'm just starting to put them together.
Each has 6 or 7 toys, dreamies, a stick treat, a Dreamies yoghurt and a blanket.
Christmas day should be really lovely for them and there's £140 so far for HCC. It would be fabulous to find sponsors for the last 1 which would give £150 to HCC.

So the beautiful crocheted blankets and toys have arrived for the sponsored stockings/gift bags. They really are going to be some very happy cats and kittens at Herefordshire Cat Centre on Christmas day 🎅

I'll photograph the contents of one shortly now everything is here.

There are still 4 to sponsor if anyone would like to gift one to a rescue this Christmas. Your £10 will be donated to HCC and your gift to a very happy cat.

It was a busy day making little catnip pouches yesterday ready for Saturdays Christmas event at Herefordshire Cat Centre at Allensmore. Please do come along 11-1pm. We can't promise great weather, but we can can promise Father Christmas, cats, a fantastic raffle and lots of other things...and CATNIP!

There are still 4 stockings looking for sponsors. Father Christmas will looking to see who goes onto his nice list. Just a month until the big day, so best behavior everyone 😁🎅

I'm sure many of you saw the story of the 9 black cats found in one carrier who now reside at HCC. Sadly this is just one awful story. There are many more. Every penny helps this amazing centre. Thankyou 🎅

Thankyou to everyone who has pledged and/or paid for the stockings for Herefordshire Cat Centres Christmas day fluffy residents. There are just 4 left to be sponsored.

With 5 weeks until the big day, we thought we would give Father Christmas a helping hand. So here at Oh Sew Catnip, this year we are putting together 15 bags/stockings for the cats and kittens at Herefordshire Cat Centre.

These will include

- a crocheted blanket from a Yorkshire cat rescue plus a toy. This is a win win as the cost goes to their rescues and so helps them too.

- lots of toys to keep the cats and kittens occupied

- Dreamies

- a stick treat

So I am looking for 15 wonderful people who would like to sponsor one. This will include a handwritten message on your gift.
Your £10 will then be donated to Herefordshire Cat Centre. So if all goes to plan, HCC should receive £150 and the cats and kittens still waiting to find their home a lovely Christmas day.
