Training session officially launches this July! 🎉
After lots of hard work behind the scenes, I’m so excited to start offering training sessions alongside my walking and pet care services.

Whether your dog needs help with:

☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER REMINDER 🐾☀️

With temperatures reaching 26°C today, this is your reminder that hot weather can become dangerous for dogs very quickly.

Please remember:
🌡️ 20°C+ = caution advised
🌡️ 24°C+ = dangerous for many dogs, especially during exercise
🌡️ 28°C+ = severe risk of heatstroke

🛣️ Tarmac can become hot enough to burn paws even when the air temperature doesn’t feel “that hot”. If you can’t comfortably hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog.

🚗 Dogs can die in hot cars in minutes — even with windows open or parked in the shade. Sadly, heat-related illness in dogs is often fatal, with UK studies showing around 1 in 7 dogs affected by heatstroke die from it.

☀️ During hotter weather, walks may need to be:
🐾 Shortened
🐾 Moved to earlier/later in the day
🐾 Changed to shaded sniff walks or enrichment visits
🐾 Cancelled altogether if conditions are unsafe

And a gentle reminder for the weekend 💛
Your dog would usually much rather stay cool and comfortable at home than be dragged around garden centres, car boot sales, pubs, family days out or left waiting in hot cars while people “just pop in quickly”.

Skipping one walk will never harm your dog. Heatstroke can.

Your dogs’ safety and welfare will always come first 🐶💛
