Elfie the cockatiel loves a spray down in the sun! ☀️💦

Most of our birds don’t actually enjoy a spray in the heat 😅 they occasionally have a bath in their bowls but only Elfie appreciates a cooling mist!

As you can see, she can’t get enough! I don’t blame her, wish someone would stand there and do that for me during a heatwave 🤣

A weekend of bank holiday fun in the sun! ☀️☀️

Finally we have a bit of British summer, but it’s tough on all of our furry friends 🥵 everyone has been outside on the grass in the shade and fresh cold water replenished regularly! The boys have even had a summer haircut 😅

Pebbles on the other hand is loving the hot weather and making the most of being able to naturally bask 🐢

Join us for bath time with Brandy 🤩

Brandy is a sheltie guinea pig so he has super long hair that needs regular TLC 🛁 he has now had his summer bath and hair cut ready for those warmer sunny days! 🌞

The water temperature has to be just right, if it gets too cold he is not a happy piggy 😅 as you can see in this video, he is satisfied with the service 🤣

Sonny the Cockatiel was our latest holiday resident 🌟

He stayed right next to our cockatiels and absolutely loved chatting away to them all day 💛 Isn’t his colouring just gorgeous? 😍

He was such a pleasure to look after, and it was so lovely to receive a little holiday gift from his parents when they came to collect him 🥹

We can’t wait to welcome Sonny back for another stay 🥰

Our gorgeous clutch of budgie chicks from April!! 🐣

We loved the colour variations of these chicks and each one of them had their own little individual personality 🤗 It was a hard goodbye!

But when 2 of them were due to be collected, they couldn’t resist and took all 4!! It’s so great to know they all went together and they are super happy in their new home 💛
