Sorry I’ve been a little quiet with photos and videos of all your lovely dogs over the last couple of weeks.

As many of you already know, i’ve had a lot going on after my own dog, Ace, had to have his back leg amputated just over two weeks ago. It’s been an emotional and challenging time, so social media has understandably taken a bit of a back seat while we’ve been focusing on his recovery.

The good news is that he’s doing incredibly well! 🥹❤️ Tuesday he was given the go-ahead to start building his walks back up again. We’re starting with just 5 minutes at a time, taking everything nice and slowly, but seeing him out enjoying himself again means the world.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and all the lovely messages you’ve sent. It really has meant more than you know.

Now that things are settling down a little, I’m looking forward to getting back to sharing more adventures with all of your wonderful dogs too! 🐾💚

A little photo dump from the last couple of weeks. 📸🐾

With another heatwave, we’ve been out nice and early to make sure all the dogs stay safe and comfortable before it gets too warm. It might have meant some early alarms, but it’s been worth it.

Thanks again to all my clients for being so flexible with the earlier pick-up times – it’s really appreciated. Back to normal walk times this week.. for now!

This week’s heatwave has certainly been a challenge! 😅🥵

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for being so understanding and supportive over the last week. Whether it was moving walks to much earlier in the morning or having to cancel them altogether, you’ve all been incredibly patient, and I really do appreciate it.

In the time I’ve been running Cottle’s K9s, I’ve never had to cancel walks because of the weather, so it definitely wasn’t a decision I took lightly. If you know me, you’ll know I’d much rather be out walking your dogs! But when temperatures are this high, their safety has to come first. While it was disappointing to cancel, the right decision was obvious.

The temperatures are looking much cooler next week, so we should be back to our normal walking times and getting back out on all of our usual adventures. 🐾❤️

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I have made the decision to cancel walks again tomorrow. The forecast is currently showing temperatures of up to 35°C, and by the time I get to some of my walks it will simply be too hot and unsafe for the dogs.

As with today, I’m happy to offer a quick home visit instead for toilet breaks, water top-ups and a bit of company if needed. Please let me know if you’d like one.

Thank you for your understanding. Keeping the dogs safe and comfortable has to come first in this heat ☀️🐾

What a difference a week makes! 🌦️🐾

Last week we were out bright and early to beat the heatwave, and this week we’ve been dodging showers between walks! ☔😂

Whatever the weather, the gang have had a fantastic week enjoying their adventures, sniffing, exploring and of course, posing for their group photos. 📸🐶

It’s been a very warm one, so we’ve been making the most of the cooler parts of the day with plenty of early morning adventures, shady walks, paddles and lots of water breaks! 💦

A huge thank you to all my wonderful clients for being so flexible with walk times during the heatwave. The safety and wellbeing of the dogs will always come first, and all of these happy faces make those 5am alarms worth it! ❤️
