I have NEW creatures to tell you about!
The Gerbillus gerbillus: The Lesser Egyptian Gerbil.

What kind of gerbil-breeder am I if I don’t have actual gerbils? The G. Gerbillus is THE GERBIL, the true gerbil.

Mongolian Gerbils are actually not ‘true’ gebrils, and are actually JIRDS, like the Persian Jird.

I’m so excited to have these guys. Fingers crossed for pups sometime in the future ☺️

All pre-arranged adoptions for the Real London Show have been arranged and prepared 🥳
I’ve finished everyone’s Goody Bags and nearly done finishing the carriers and show containers for tomorrow.

Only pre-arrranged adoptions will get a goody bag. I apologise to everyone who adopts on the day and cannot receive a goody bag. I know they’re popular 🫣 Please, forgive me for that; but I just cannot prepare an unknown quantity. I don’tmake any sort of profit from my gerbils, so I can only give pre-arrange adoptions goody bags 😅

Now!! For me to pre-pack Majia The SAAB, in preparations for tomorrow. Gerbils and their food will be loaded last-thing tomorrow morning 😋

I will be on-grounds by 8:30-8:45 😎

Families and individuals from the following Gerbil-Families will be available for ADOPTION to special homes:

- 2x BUCKS - Brambles Litter (good for breeding and pet homes!! Parents are BIS and RBIS winners!)
- Chianti Litter (show homes only. Mother is BIS and Father is winner in most of his classes)
- Lucky Charms 2 & 3 (extremely special homes and breeding homes required. You MUST contact RSC before show-day. Exceptional adoption fee required)
- PERSIAN JIRDS (Meriones Persians) Only two pairs of boy left! 😊 £40 a pai
- There might be some gerbils entered into the show available for adoption. Only available after the show has completed around 4-4:30pm.

I will be on-site of the Real London for adoptions by 9am.

IF YOU ARE COMING TO ADOPT: Please be aware, RSC must work with the Animal Transportation companies first. A couple of my gerbils are off to the continent. How exciting!! 🤩

Once my gerbils are safe and with the transportation companies, I will want to set-up and get ready for the show.

Once my gerbils are ready for the show, and judging starts (at 10:30), RSC will continue with adoptions. All sales must be conducted and approved through the National Gerbil Society.

On the day, pre-arranged adotions are first before all public viewing and adoption 😎🖖🏼

Please, be patient with me if I have ”a moment” and I get a little flustered or confused if too many people arrive at once for adoption. I’m a VERY high-functioning person with autism, and just need a TINY bit of understanding if the situation gets a little crazy with a bunch of people 💕☺️💕

So, I took a break from working on the jirds and gerbils to play with Frankie.

Frankenstein is easily the most unique little guy I have. Born without fur or skin across his scalp, hand-reared by me from birth, he’s lucky to be alive and the most friendly little gerbil I have ever known. ☺️

Frankie will be at the Real London Show on Saturday for display. NOT FOR SALE.

Hand-reared from birth, he’s a lucky survivor, and easily my most favourite little guy of all time ☺️
He will be attending the Real London as a display gerbil. He can be handled when he is feeling up to it ☺️

Heartbreaking day.

So, I ran to south London to pick-up Snickers in hopes to give him, and one of my current rescues (Cloud), a brother.

Yesterday, Cloud seemed to be taking a turn. Being over 4 years old, his time was limited anyway. But I was just hoping to give these guys a brother, especially Cloud, before they knew loneliness.

Cloud was found cold and quiet in his next yestday, and after hours of trying to bring him ’round with banana & mango purée and lots of TLC, he improved only a little late last night.

This morning, poor Cloud was found cold and quiet once again. I’ll be taking him to the vet later …

… I just feel so bad, trying my best for these guys. I’d love to think that Cloud is just missing his brother, and he’ll be alright the moment he knows he has someone else to be friends with… but…. I sadly know better 😞

Oreo, another rescue-foster of mine when went through two nasty de-clans, will be going with us to the vet as well. She hasn’t improved much, so seeing if we can try something new to get her going again 😊

Off to south London to bring home a recently lonely gerbil, Snickers, to HOPEFULLY bond with Cloud (another rescue of mine — Who reciently lost his brother, Coffee).

Then? I’ll be bringing home some Anubis Crew grand-baby-boys from Fareham, too ☺️
