July recap ☀️🐾

What. A. Hot. Month. 🥵

We definitely missed our usual adventures, and I'll admit the constant worry about keeping the dogs safe in the heat has been a little stressful. Early mornings, shaded walks, enrichment at home, dog parks, paddling pools and plenty of rest became the priority and thankfully, we got through it. 💛

Summer holidays are officially here, and I'm honestly not sure who's having more fun... the girls or the dogs! 😂 Here's to making more memories, hoping for slightly cooler days, and enjoying the rest of the summer together. ☀️🐶

Introducing the gorgeous Honey to the MooLu family! 🐾🤎

Most of Honey's visits so far have been spent enjoying garden play because of the heat. 🥵 Keeping our furry friends safe and comfortable always comes first! 💛

I'm really hoping for some cooler days next week 🙏 so we can get back out on our adventures together. 😎🌿

Panting is normal, but how your dog is panting can be an early warning sign that they're overheating.

Learning the difference could help prevent heat exhaustion or even heatstroke.

Keep an eye on their tongue, take plenty of breaks, provide fresh water, and when in doubt, cool them down and head somewhere shaded. ❤️

It's been HOT! ☀️ We've had early forest walks, house visits, and even a few cancelled walks. Every dog is different - while some struggle once it gets above 20°C, others cope much better. My two boys, for example, would happily be sunbathing at midday! 🙈 That's why it's so important that I know each dog as an individual, so I can tailor their care and make the best decisions to keep them happy and safe in the heat. 🐾💛
