Please be aware if you walk the top end of the park

***IMPORTANT NOTICE TO HASTINGS RESIDENTS***

It has been brought to our attention that there is rat poison in the Alexandra Park area, anywhere between Shornden Reservoir and Buckshole Reservoir (as highlighted in the photo).
PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND KEEP DOGS ON A LEAD!

Signs to look out for if your dog has ingested rat poison are;
weakness, lethargy, vomiting, throwing up blood, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, blood in urine/faeces, unidentified bruising over the body and difficulty breathing.
If you notice any of these symptoms, seek veterinary advise immediately!

I'm back.... after my week off, totally forgot to put it on here. Looking forward to the next 5 week block of courses. Some people have asked why the 5 weeks on and a week off. With 12 classes a week and daily one to ones I need a regroup week. The other thing it allows is wiggle room, problem with a hall, weather, sickness or doing a trial or similar with own dogs, I can swap a session into my week off needs be. 😊
