💔 RIP Mr Hemmings. What a wonderful owner who enjoyed much success with his amazing horses.

Trevor Hemmings, one of jump racing’s greatest supporters and the owner of three Grand National winners, has died at the age of 86.

For anyone unsure why TB blood is central to the ideal event horse (in our view anyway!) have a watch of Annie’s XC round in the CCI4*S 8/9 yr olds at Blenheim today. Massive congratulations to Sam and Annie - storming around clear inside the time to finish 7th. So very proud to watch what this amazing mare is achieving.

Will be in Ireland 22nd/23rd and 27th/28th September with Int’l rider seeking top class 4/5 yr olds. Must have 60%+ blood, move well and have serious potential to go to 5*. WANTED: Ideal first horse to have fun with. Capable of competing at BE90 and Discovery level and progressing from there. Ideally 16-16.2hh, age 6+ with some experience, a kind temperament on the ground and under saddle. Must be able to hack out alone and in company. Absolutely no vices and must be open to vetting. Geldings only considered and no thoroughbreds. Sensible budget for the right horse.

The most massive of congratulations to these two legends! Lucinda Henson and Paddy (Birchill Seethestars) placing 2nd in the Heavyweight Working Hunter at the Royal International yesterday and earning a well deserved place in the championship in the main arena here at Hickstead.
