Shikari🐍

A little bit more information about our pretty girl Shikari. Shikari is one of the newest members of ‘Scales & Tails’. She is the sweetest girl! Shikari has the ‘spider’ gene meaning she has wobbles. Wobbles is a neurological disorder which affects Ball Pythons. This causes her to have head shaking, swaying, & twisting (corkscrewing). It affects balance and coordination, often leading to difficulty navigating, slight tremors and impairment. Because of this, it takes a lot of patience at the time of Shikari’s feeds. She recently had her first feed with us and took her food like a champ! We also keep Shikari’s Viv quite simple, making sure there’s nothing she can climb up, keeping her safe from falling and hurting herself. She has settled in great to her forever home with us.

Hey all, Welcome to our page. We have had a name change and are now ‘Scales & Tails Reptiles’. We have decided to share all of our gorgeous reptiles and invertebrates with you all. Our love and collection for reptiles/invertebrates grows daily.

Our current pet collection is… ball pythons, leopard geckos, crested geckos & tarantulas. We are certain this will continue to expand🙈

We also breed our cresties and leopard geckos so we should have some babies coming soon! We have recently had our leopard geckos (pearl and Dory) lay eggs. Keep your eyes peeled!

We are always happy to help & answer any questions you may have. Thank you for following and supporting us on this journey. We would be grateful if you could interact and share our page.
