This weeks tongue out Tuesdays goes to Ralph!🐶

Ralph is new to team MAC and enjoyed his first walk with us yesterday with his brother from another Mother…. Ted.

We’ve looked after Ted for quite some time now, I absolutely loved taking Ralph out also, to watch them both together after hearing so much about him. 🥰🩷🐾

Happy Sunday!!!

Back to normal business from Monday!

I’ve had a lovely week off, although did spend it chasing students for assignment work and marking GCSE papers, as I never sit still 😂🙈 however, it was lovely to be home with our new addition and settle him in properly. Managed to catch a lot of pool time also, cooling down in the heatwave 🏊‍♀️ 🌞

I’m looking forward to being with my MAC crew again next week.
We are heading into a busy busy month for the business, so if I look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge for most of it then it’s because I most likely have 😂😂

Trip to the new jollyesuk in Kidderminster today to pick up some dog treats and check out the stock. 🐾🐇🐶🐱

Nice set up and nice to see they had a reptile section of live feed also. 🦎

Treated Frank to a new harness and did some environment training meeting new people, seeing different dogs and exploring the pet shop scents. Slept all the way home. 🐾🩷

With the warm weather here are some ways to keep your dogs cool throughout;

1. Paddling pools- avoid blow up ones as won’t last 5 minutes with pup teeth. Fresh water daily for them to take a splash whenever feel like it and they are likely to also drink from it 💦🔫
2. Get up and walk them extra early- plan a shaded route and encourage them to slow their pace and sniff. You could scatter treats to encourage this. 🪵 🌳 🐶
3. Keep the frozen enrichment topped up. Kongs or Licky mats are fantastic with natural yoghurt, meat paste, bit of cheese then freeze so they last extra long and keep your doggos cool 😎
4. Enrichment toys - snuffle balls are good for ball needy dogs - will discourage them running around with a ball like a loon and provides excellent mental stimulation. 🥎
5. Invest in some cool vests/ mats or bandanas. These are from Amazon and cheap as. Dip them in water to keep them cold- make sure they are the right size for your dog so they are comfortable 💧 💦
6. Take them for a trip out in your air conditioned car. Mental enrichment is provided if they can look out the window, and it will keep them cool, you could even pop to Costa drive through and treat yourself to an iced drink and a pup cup! (Don’t ever leave them in a car alone in this heat 🥵 )

Got Finn out early this morning with pal Willow for a walk. Shaded route all the way with a swim stop half way. The perfect route for this weather. Home for 9 before the heat set in.🩷🐾

With the owners permission I’m please to share this from a wonderful day…..

On Friday I had the pleasure of chaperoning my regular Poochy girl to her pawrents wedding day! 💒
The most perfect day with the most perfect weather too!☀️🕶️

We started off with a gentle walk followed by a cool down in car, then dressed her to impress with new collar, lad, bandana and even some Pawfume for her debut walking the aisle with her big brothers! 🐾🩷

She was a super girl and posed for some lovely pictures after before returning home for cuddles and nap time.

What a lovely idea to have your dog at your wedding 🥰
I absolutely loved taking her to enjoy the special day and she definitely stole the show.
