One year marking time without you Lyla and I can hardly believe a year has gone by already.

I knew losing you would be unbelievably difficult but nothing prepared me for the anguish, emptiness and feeling of longing following your loss.

I have spent the last 12 months unable to exhaust a bottomless well of tears and whilst the pain is less acute now, there is a void in my soul that arrived as soon as you departed, which will never be filled.

I must content myself with the precious memories, the thousands of photos and videos I have, being reminded of you every day, and of course all of your wonderful friends ( 3 of whom have joined you) at Devoted2Dogs who have given me so much comfort.

Lyla, I know you told me you had to leave, you left too soon my beauty. You & I are fused together forever, I will love you eternally and never forget you. 💞

I would like to THANK all my clients & friends for your ongoing love and support during 2024 after losing Lyla.

I am truly grateful for all your wonderful dogs ( her old friends & the new generation!) that I take great pleasure in looking after. They have helped me immensely as I adjust to my new reality.
