First, I make the dog feel comfortable. Then I brush out the dead coat, carefully shape the tail with scissors and brush it again for a soft, natural finish.

Never shave the double coat unless medically necessary. Brush gently with a slicker brush, then check with a metal comb. Healthy, fluffy and beautiful! ❤️

🐶🪮 Don’t brush only over the surface!

Try this technique instead:

✨ Use a smaller brush for better control
🪮 Separate the coat into small sections
🐾 Brush carefully, layer by layer
❤️ Work gently from the roots to the ends

This helps you reach more of the coat and prevent hidden knots!

🌾🐾 GRASS SEED WARNING!

Grass seeds are everywhere right now and can be dangerous for our dogs. 🐶⚠️

• Avoid long grass where possible
• Check paws and between the toes after every walk
• Remove any visible grass seeds before they enter the skin
• Keep feet and surrounding coat neatly trimmed ✂️

If a grass seed has entered the skin, contact your vet. ❤️🐾
