Hope you are all surviving the heat wave. Incase you didn’t know I have aircon in my room so you can relax knowing the grooms can go ahead as normal. The aircon is working so well I am tempted to move my bed in, wishing I had aircon upstairs!

I had a lovely visit from Honey and what a poppet she is. She had a summer defluff and a bit more of a trim to get her ready for the heat.
She was as good as good as usual and enjoyed the chicken as she is on a diet so it was an extra treat visiting me.

Then today Princess Pixie called in and Billie and Bertie watched. They don’t normally stay but as Billie and Pixie are BFFs we gave it a go. Pixie scored 9/10 only slipping on one mark as she prefers the clippers to dremel for her front paws. (I’m a tough marker) Billie & Bertie 6/10 as they barked at the postman but really they were all so good and enjoyed a big pot of chicken to share.

I have two Barneys to look forward to tomorrow. This weeks star of the week has a tough line up once again!

Having spent the day thinking of Star of the week I decided it had to be the birthday boy Mickey.

⭐️ Mickey has been visiting the Omidog! Salon for 671 days! He is one of my OGs.

⭐️ Mickey comes to me on a 6 weeks schedule so has been 16 times and oh boy has be come along way.

⭐️ He lets me do his nails now.

⭐️ He lets me use the clippers on his face - not keen on scissors still but I can use on his ears - huge progress.

⭐️ He loves chicken at the end and does a dance for me.

⭐️ He is a lovely boy and I would keep him in a heart beat!

Hope you have all have a good week and lovely bank holiday week planned.

On Monday Super Sweet Sushi came and she was very keen to see me. She is a ball of fluff and is so good for the whole process! She enjoyed the chicken and I think she was ready to move in🤣

Then Magnificent Mickey came and it was his birthday ! He is 7, and he was a very good boy and had lots of chicken which of course he needed specially as it was his birthday!

On Wednesday the beautiful pair, Roxy and Luna called in. They wanted to be summer ready so had velvet hair cuts. They did look so pretty all smooth and silky and their bandanas added some extra cuteness. They were both so good and enjoyed the chicken as usual.

Today I had the pleasure of Lovey Leia and Lilly. We had the air con on to keep us cool. They were so good as usual and I’m looking forward to seeing Lilly for a freshen up in a month. She has the most amazing hair but does require extra maintenance and then I will have the both for their full groom.

Then Miss cutie pie Lottie called in and she is just too cute for words. She has very curly hair and fluffs up with dryer. She is very good for the dryer which is wonderful given her hair. She gets very well looked after at home so she has a short but fluffy hair cut and always looks so adorable.

I have a weekend off and will announce the Star 🌟 of the week on Sunday. It’s a very very tricky line up this week.

Well it’s that time of the week. It’s been a tough choice once again another close call.

This weeks winner of ⭐️ of the week goes to Lovely Lyla

⭐️ She has been coming to the Omidog salon for 554 days (not everyday 🤣)
⭐️ She has had 16 full grooms and a similar number of nail trims as she specialises in growing sharp pointy nails fast.
⭐️ She tries very hard to stay still for her grooms and lets me use the dremel.
⭐️ She gives me a bonus bath & blow dry whilst we have a cuddle dry under the stand dry.
⭐️ She loves chicken and cuddles.
⭐️ She always looks so adorable in her bandanas
⭐️ She has only ever been to the Omidog! Salon for her grooms!

What a worthy ⭐️ of the week she is.

Next week is a busy week so it’s going to another tough choice. Stay tuned to find out who it will be.

I’ve had a busy week, not so much with grooming but other appointments with my Mum hat on.

On Sunday Lovely Lennie called in and as usual he was a delight. He enjoyed himself and had lots of chicken & Sally cuddles so he was very happy.

Monday Super Sweep called in for teeth clean, we made more progress and he is doing so well. Also scoffed the chicken.

Then Amazing Atlas called in and he was also a good boy. He enjoyed the refreshments. Not so keen on his nails but he tried his best.

Then yesterday fabulous Elton popped in for his nails. He was very good indeed and got to enjoy a pot of chicken.

Today we had beautiful Lyla for her groom and she was as fast as ever and kept me busy but she was very good for her nails and looked adorable in her bandana. Chicken was had by the pot full!

Then I had a new visitor the handsome boy Cooper who is a definite keeper. He was such a good boy and let me do all the groom including dremel his nails. He enjoyed the chicken as we went along. Doesn’t he look so handsome in his bandana.

Billie also had a bath so she is clean for 5 minutes!

I have another tough choice for star of the week. Stay tuned tomorrow to find out who it is.

After a tough line up this week for 🌟 of the week, I decided it had to be two special girls…..

The Beautiful Bichon Girls, Tallulah and Clover…

🌟 They have been coming to the Omidog! Salon for 679 days.

🌟 They are my longest customers and even when they moved they drive a bit further now to come to me.

🌟 They have had 21 grooms each and each time they brighten up my day. And now Sally’s when she is home as she gets lots of Clover Cuddles!

🌟 They are both brave for the dryer & so good for their grooms.

⭐️ They both love the chicken!

⭐️ They always look so adorable in their bandanas.

⭐️ Super Star girls in every way!

Gorgeous Cookie popped in on Friday as she has been on her holidays to bushy fields and had a lovely time getting tangled in amongst the greenery. She was as usual such as good girl. The tangles are no more and we said good bye to a pile of fluff. She looked beautiful all dressed up ready to rock the streets of Haddenham.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of Scamp returning for a Summer time hair do. He likes his hair nice and short. He loves the chicken treats and likes the small hair dryer as the big one is too scary for him. He is such a good boy and looked very handsome.

Then beautiful Posie called in and she was a very good girl as usual. Another chicken treat fan and how adorable does she look in her bow bandana?

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I need to decide ⭐️ of the week. It’s another tough one!

I had the pleasure of Pickle and Nellie calling in today. I do need an extra set of eyes with these two as they do love to play while each other is being groomed. Pickle loves to search for chicken and treats. Nellie was keen to decorate my room with hair. She must have got the idea from Mabel. They were both so good for their nails and looked super cute in matching bandanas.

It is also Billies birthday today so we got to celebrate with Sally which was lovely.

I’ve been making a few more bandanas as my collection is getting low again. I tried one of the new bow designs on Billie...

I’ve been making a few more bandanas as my collection is getting low again. I tried one of the new bow designs on Billie but it disappeared in her hair! Need a new design for her!

Just about out of the multi sheep but I do love this design.

Hope you have all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. Mine has been a busy one.

The fabulous Bichon girls called in yesterday and I also got to meet an adorable tiny boy called Teddy. Had a lot of trouble handing him back after a lovely cuddle. The girls were so good and also got Sally cuddles which they approved of.

Today has been extra busy. Lovely Lyla called in for a nail trim and face tidy and was so good!

Then Super Stanley called in for his usual monthly bath and blow dry. As usual he was as good as gold.

The handsome Oreo called in for the full works he always arrives at full speed and gives the best cuddles. He was as an absolute gentleman and looked very dashing in his new hair do.

Then finally Wonderful Winston called in and he had a mud bath. He really enjoyed the massage and the chicken. He left looking so handsome as usual!

A couple of days to recharge before the next visitors. Hope you all have a good week!

Well it’s been another week with a very tough choice for STAR ⭐️ of the WEEK!

This week I decided it had to be Mabel for her first big hair cut….

⭐️Mabel was very brave and with the support of Molly & took the bath and drying in her stride.

⭐️ Mabel was perfect for her nails

⭐️ Mabel was so good with the clippers and scissors.

⭐️ Mabel is the best hair decorator I have met, she covered the whole of my room with Mollys hair.

⭐️ Mabel gives wonderful hugs and kisses and is simply adorable.

Stay tuned for next weeks star - who will it be???
