Blind Foster Babies Blind Foster Babies is an independent cat rescue and rehoming service, based in Guisborough, North Yorkshire.

We rescue cats without a home and have cats sent to us from across the world, and try to rehome them locally.

Here at BFB, we have been working hard in the background, caring for more fur babies, both domestic and international. We had a fluffy shipment from Dubai, with some more Mau's who are looking for their forever home, as well as some more local kitties needing the same.

But recently, our adoptions have slowed down, and when the adoptions slow down, our resources deplete faster. We have exhausted our supplies - This includes cat litter, food, and the vet's account, which is used to check and treat our little fluffs.

So we again would like to ask for the community's help for an independent charitable cause.

Primarily, we need to find homes for a few kitties:

We are looking for:

- Someone older to offer a home to a long-haired 8-year-old.
- A home for a bonded pair of maus (adults) that is possibly increasing to 3 to go together. Really, this is best placed with a home with an energetic and playful family.
- A home for a black female 1yr old
- A home for a more tame 6-month-old mau.

We know, though, that not everyone can commit to taking a furry friend. If you are unable to, we fully understand, but you may still be able to help us with donations.

Hi all, well what a few weeks.... the stress of fireworks has set off flu amongst the kittens 😪 one of the elderly fosters had a dental which has turned out to be a lot bigger than originally thought.... There's no money left at all in the kitty, food and litter has been donated in small amounts but theres nothing at all really to keep going with.... tonight on the menu we are having frozen chicken (cooked obviously) a treat for the furbabies, necessity for us....
So we are yet again in
need....

It has been a busy few days over here at BFB. We have some new fur babies looking for their forever homes. We would also like to ask for any support or donations you may be able to offer. Whether financial, cat food, or cat litter, all are incredibly useful.

A home check fee of £80 is required, and a £20 microchip registration fee (this is the microchip company's fee, not ours).

As always, all proceeds go towards the cats in our care.

We have these little balls of fluff; they haven't got names yet. These kittens are all 12-16 week old males. They have all been neutered, microchipped, wormed and flea-treated; all cats' health has been thoroughly checked by a vet, and all of these cats are healthy and strong.

If you have the space in your home for the love of a cute little overlord, who will settle in and come for hugs, play, and give you affection, all while silently judging if your slippers are a toy they haven't met yet - please reach out to Kate Storr or by this page and we will help you find a purrfect little friend.

It has been a busy few days over here at BFB. We have some new fur babies looking for their forever homes.

To support what we do here at BFB, a home check fee of £80 is required, and a £20 microchip registration fee (this is the microchip companies fee, not ours.)

All funds raised from the rehomes go towards the next cat needing help... 100% goes to the care of the cats meaning we can provide a a safe haven for these lovable balls of fluff, giving them the best start in life, its basically a pay it forward in the feline world :)

Currently on the search for their forever homes are both of these kittens, they can be homed individually or together.

Both are 12 weeks old. Our tabby friend here is nicknamed "Harry", he loves a jingling ball and expends all his energy in chasing it like a footballer who hasn't yet been offered a free kick. As such, he is nicknamed after the many Harrys of the football world.

Our little fluffy black hole here is known as Scampi, he absolutely loves people and loves having his tummy tickled. He will scamper over to you, before making himself comfortable on your chest or your lap and snuggle in for the night.

Both of these furbabies are neutered, microchipped, flead and wormed.

So i have been asked about the blind babies, these are the original 4, norbert, edgar, mary and sid. They contacted cat flu from their mam when only a week old, they all needed to be hand reared but it had affected their eyes badly.
Rolling forward 4 years and unfortunately cat flu reared it's ugly head and rainbow bridge recieved it's first visitor Norbert, mary followed not long after. Edgar passed over earlier this year due to kidney failure 😪 they didn't have long in this life but what they did have was quality, they had fun, love, mischeif times, snuggly times and had a wonderful life despite their issues.
Sid is the last of the original blind babies and he is an amazing boy, he can see shadows, but wow he knows how to navigate everything, he is friendly, inquisitive, adores everyone who walks through the door, he is a fearless confident cat who we all love and adore dearly xx

Guisborough's Crazy Cat Lady here! Tomorrow (Sunday, 5th October), we are expecting more rescues arriving. We always welcome any donations of cat litter, food, and any donations for ongoing costs would be appreciated.
