I think it’s safe to say my brain is currently running on approximately 47 open tabs… and at least three of them are frozen. 😂
The last few moths have been a LOT behind the scenes.
☀️ Constantly checking temperatures and forecasts
⏰ Moving walks earlier and starting my days at silly o’clock
📱 Sending out endless updates and making daily schedule changes
🏖️ Working around school holidays, client holidays and changing routines
💦 Introducing new services to keep the doggies safe, happy and exercised when it’s too hot to walk
📆 Moving bookings, cancellations and swapping dogs between groups
💸 And taking the financial hit when the weather simply isn’t safe
All while still actually doing the dog walking, swimming, drop ins, pet sitting, driving, cleaning the van, invoicing, replying to messages and running the business behind the scenes😅
I now have over 35 wonderful regular clients, all with their own individual routines, bookings, needs and little things for me to remember. This is absolutely NOT me complaining about my job. I genuinely love what I do and feel incredibly lucky that Little Paws has grown into what it has🥹 But there is only one brain behind all of those 35+ doggies, schedules and messages… and occasionally that brain is going to have a wobble😂
Little Paws may look like a whole operation sometimes, but behind it all… it really is just me😂 And if I’m being completely transparent, I’m knackered.
I will ALWAYS prioritise the safety and happiness of your doggies, even when that means completely rearranging my day at the last minute. But with so many changes happening at the moment, my brain is definitely working overtime.
So this is just a little plea for some patience and grace over the summer madness🫶🏼
I’m human. I might occasionally get a time muddled up, forget something we’ve discussed or need you to remind me of a change you’ve sent over. I’ll always fix any mistakes as quickly as possible, but please bear with me while I juggle approximately 937 things at once😂
Hopefully soon we’ll be back to our lovely predictable British weather where I can complain about the rain instead😆☔️
