Something exciting is coming……introducing ! 🐾✨

Here’s the honest story behind it, back in 2024, when I was setting up Woof and Wonder, I went searching for templates to help me get organised. But everything I found was either not pretty enough, not quite right, or just didn’t feel like *me*. So I did what any determined dog lover would do… I taught myself. 📚

I researched, experimented, and learned how to use Canva from scratch, and somewhere along the way, I realised I’d built something really useful. Something I wished had existed when I started!

Now I’m turning that knowledge into The Pet Desk, designed specifically for dog care businesses, by someone who has been exactly where you are.

Plot twist: not all my clients have tails that wag 🐱

Pickle and Lily's parents went away and needed someone to do daily check-ins - fresh food, clean litter, and most importantly, proper bonding time. Because cats aren't just "fill the bowl and leave" creatures, are they?

Daily updates so Dad could see they were happy and settled. Time spent sitting with them, letting them come to me, giving them the company they're used to.

Cat check-ins are one of those services people forget I do, but if you're going away and need someone you can trust with house keys and your most judgmental family members, I'm your girl 💜

Hey everyone! 👋🏻

You may have noticed things have been a little quieter on here this week, with the heat the way it’s been, most walks have been cancelled to keep everyone safe 🌡️☀️

I hope all my clients and their pups have been keeping cool! 🐾 Gini and Lola and I have been making the most of the early mornings with some lovely beach walks before the heat kicks in, honestly not the worst way to start the day! 🌊

June is shaping up to be a really busy month which is so exciting, but as always if you need me last minute don’t hesitate to get in touch! I’ll always do my best to help where I can 🐶❤️

"My dogs are my babies. Finding someone who could take care of them in their quirky ways felt tricky - until we met Catherine."

Maple, Blossom and Dolly come as a trio - two Pomeranians and a beautiful senior bichon, all with their own routines, personalities and little ways of doing things.

Multi-dog households can feel overwhelming to leave with someone new. Three sets of feeding times, three different needs, three personalities to read. But honestly, this is the kind of sit I love - getting to know each dog properly and slotting into their normal rather than imposing mine.

Little picture updates throughout the day so mum could relax. Routines kept exactly as written. Three very happy faces when she got home 💜

If you've never used a dog sitter before, of course you're nervous. You're handing over something precious to someone you barely know. That feeling isn't paranoia - it's love.

So when first-timers message me, my job isn't to brush past that nervousness. It's to communicate properly, answer every question, and make sure you feel as comfortable as your dog does.

Betty's mum was anxious going into it. By the end of the day, she was completely at ease, and Betty had been looked after exactly as she usually would.

☀️ With a heatwave on the way, I wanted to share this really useful guide and give everyone a heads up on how I’ll be managing walks over the coming days!

As always, your dog’s safety comes first 🐾 When temperatures rise I may need to reschedule or cancel walks depending on the heat and time of day. I’ll always give you as much notice as possible and keep you updated!

If the heat makes a walk unsafe, we can switch to a drop in session instead, so your pup still gets a visit, some company and a little fuss without the risk of overheating 🌡️

This is especially important for our smaller and flat faced breeds, elderly dogs and puppies, so please do keep an eye on the forecast too!

If you have any questions or concerns about your upcoming bookings, just drop me a message and we’ll figure it out together 🐶❤️

Leaving a puppy for the first time is a lot.

They're still learning the world. Still working out their routines. Still figuring out what's safe and what's scary. The thought of handing them to someone new can feel huge.

Sully is a gorgeous yellow lab puppy and when his mum and dad first got in touch, they were nervous - completely understandable. So we took it slow. Met properly first. Talked through his routine, his quirks, what he was working on training-wise. By the time the sit happened, they felt comfortable, and Sully was already wagging at me through the window 💜

Now he "can't wait to have me back" (her words, not mine 😅).

If you've got a puppy and you're nervous about leaving them - that's the right instinct. You should be picky. Message me for a free meet & greet 🐾

LOLA 💜

Allow me to introduce the original Princess Sausage herself - this is Lola, and she has been running things around here for 12 years. 👑🐾

Lola is our wise, wonderful, gummy bear queen. She was once a fearsome power chewer, truly legendary, but with only 4 teeth remaining she has gracefully transitioned into her soft era, and we love her all the more for it. 🦷😄

These days you’ll find Lola chasing every patch of sunlight in the house, demanding her morning snuggles, and raiding any unattended bag she can get her little nose into. Chicken is her love language and she will absolutely find it if it’s anywhere within reach. 🐔👜

12 years of joy, chaos, and unconditional love. There is truly nobody like her. 👑💜
