Every year over 500,000 dogs and cats go missing in the UK. Today is a very important day for dog owners as, in less than 24 hours, it becomes compulsory for all dogs in England to be microchipped.

Today we're going live to Lincolnshire where vet Joe Ingles has teamed up with the Dog's Trust to microchip dogs free of charge at a pop up chipping clinic.
