🐾 “First day of puppy school… and they absolutely smashed it!” 🎉

New smells. New faces. New experiences…
…and they took it all in their stride like little pros.

Confident, curious, and ready to learn — this is exactly what we love to see at Paws Etiquette 💛

Getting things right from the very start makes SUCH a difference, and these pups are already on the best path forward.

I can’t wait to watch them grow over the next few weeks — they’re going to be superstars 🌟

If your pup is ready to start their journey, you know where I am 👀👇

🐾 Paws Etiquette Recommendation 🐾

If you’re looking for something a little different (and a LOT of fun!) for your dog, we highly recommend Woofs & Waves 💦

The girls recently had a visit and had the BEST time! From the moment they got in the water, you could see the confidence, excitement, and pure joy it brought them. It’s such a fantastic way to build confidence, burn energy, and give your dog a safe, enriching experience. Woofs and Waves

Swimming is also brilliant for:
✔️ Low-impact exercise (great for joints!)
✔️ Building confidence in nervous dogs
✔️ Mental stimulation in a new environment
✔️ Just pure, happy fun!
If you’ve never tried it before, it’s definitely worth a visit 👇

🌭 “Impulse control level: EXPERT… or absolutely not.” 😂👀
The challenge:
Move sausages from one bowl to another… using chopsticks 🥢
The twist?
👉 Your dog has to SIT… and NOT eat them.
Sounds easy? Think again… 😅
This game tested:
🧠 Serious impulse control
🐾 Focus with high-value distractions (hello sausages 👀)
🎯 Trust between dog & owner
Because if your dog can ignore this…
you’ve basically unlocked a superpower 💪
BUT… wait for the ending 😂👇
One client said “rules are optional” and went FULL creative mode…
🥢➡️ lifted the entire bowl and won it for her team
Honestly?
10/10 problem solving
Gold star awarded ⭐😂
Training should be fun, memorable, and a little bit competitive 💛
So… be honest…
Would your dog leave the sausages… or would it be game over instantly? 😂👇

🥚 “Loose lead walking… but make it chaos.” 😂🐰
Owners balancing eggs…
dogs weaving around carrots…
and somehow STILL walking on a loose lead 👀
This wasn’t just a fun Easter relay — it was real-life training in disguise:
🐾 Loose lead skills under distraction
🧠 Focus with movement + excitement
🎯 Handler engagement (even when things get chaotic!)
Because let’s be honest…
if your dog can walk nicely during this…
your daily walks just got a whole lot easier 🙌
And the bunny hops at the end?
Let’s just say… coordination was optional 😂🐰
Training should be fun, practical, and something you actually enjoy doing 💛
Be honest… would you drop the egg or would your dog break the lead first? 👇😂

🐰 “This looks like a game…
but it’s actually impulse control training in action.” 👀
Bunnies vs eggs… but the real challenge?
👉 Can your dog sit and wait while you walk away?
In this exercise, every dog had to hold position while their owner stepped off to place their piece on the board — building:
🧠 Focus in exciting environments
⏳ Patience & self-control
🐾 Real-life obedience (even with distractions!)
Because let’s be honest…
a dog that can wait calmly while the fun is happening?
That’s a game changer 🙌
Training doesn’t have to be boring…
it can look just like this 💛
Would your dog stay… or follow you straight to the board? 😂👇

“This isn’t just an Easter egg hunt…
…it’s your dog’s brain workout in disguise.” 👀
Watching these pups hunt for eggs might look like pure fun… but something powerful is happening behind the scenes 🧠🐕
Dogs experience the world through their nose first, eyes second — and when we let them sniff, search, and problem-solve, we’re tapping into their natural instincts.
🌿 Sniffing lowers stress
🧩 Builds confidence
💤 Mentally tires them out (more than you think!)
This kind of enrichment isn’t just a bonus…
it’s essential for a happy, fulfilled dog 💛

Before the Easter weekend starts, here are a few things dog owners often overlook 🐾

A quick reminder of what to keep out of reach to help keep your dog safe 💛

𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 1 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁.

Most puppy owners wait too long.

They wait until pulling on the lead becomes normal.
Until recall feels optional.
Until “just a puppy” turns into a habit that’s harder to change.

This is where it starts differently.

Paws Etiquette Puppy School is designed for puppies under 6 months — the stage where learning is fastest, habits are formed, and confidence is built the right way.

Starting Monday 13th April at 6pm
6-week course

You won’t just “attend classes.”
You’ll learn how to communicate clearly with your dog, prevent common behavioural issues before they begin, and build a calm, responsive companion from the very beginning.

Two places remain.

If you’ve been thinking about it, this is your moment to act — not later.
